The controversial Covid Safe app implemented by the previous Government was switched off today. RIP.
wouldn't "controversial" mean the App had some supporters to defend its worth?
It, like most things the Libs touched, was a disaster from the start. on reflection it probably a is good thing they spent most of their time in government doing nothing.

Doing almost nothing, they were very good at spending tax payers money on themselves, their mates & supporters.

It took a couple of years but I finally tested positive for COVID. Glad I had my last booster early Sept, very mild at the moment.

Hopefully it stays that way. All the best for a swift recovery.

Trains packed again, barely a seat. Just a few mask-wearers. Even at the Epworth yesterday there were a few specialists and assistants with a mask under the chin or in their shirt pockets.

Wife and I finally got it in the past week. Her work colleagues had nicknamed us the cockroach family - as in, the last survivors.

Hers was more like an annoying cold with an evening and the next afternoon feeling tired in the early phase. Mine a touch worse, having the fluey/viral feeling that kept me just sleeping in bed until mid afternoon on the first noticeable day. Was pretty much on the mend after that, mowing lawns, walking the dog and such the next day. I do have very minor residual cold symptoms stubbornly staying around that work doesn’t want me back in the office yet. 5 days in now. Although I didn’t test positive until day three - well after the fluey kind of day. Feel reasonably well to do most things. Although think I’d draw the line at gym sessions or runs for a few days.

My two kids still holding the cockroach title. Haven’t caught it off us.

Regarding immunisation. I genuinely can’t remember if I had two shots or three. It all blends into one mushy memory given there was a winter flu shot in there also. Last COVID one I had I think was around March. But can’t remember for the life of me if it was no.2 or no.3.

I’ve had three jabs and CV twice. I regret having the jabs and definitely won’t be having any more. Neither will my wife and kids (kids have had none). We’ve been lied to and sold out by big pharma and their patsy politicians. Enough for me.

I've had 4 jabs. Whenever there's a chance for another I'll be first in line.

COVID was dangerous for me. My pre-existing conditions meant if I caught it before the vax was available, I'd be just another statistic. Having had my 4th jab 6 weeks before I caught it for the first time was a lucky break.

"Pandemic Could Be Ending"
Ch7 last night.
Nah. China's ramping up a fancy shiny new version to share with everyone. Got at least another cuppla years of pandemic shut downs to look forward to. We'll all be back to the future again before we know it.

Hate bumping this thread but the Chinese are now being asked to test before they come here. The obvious question is why?

Obvious answer is that covid mutates frequently so more than likely the vaccinations need to be updated n modified on a regular basis to try n keep the protective capability at reasonable levels.
China still pretending nuffink's happening so all the Western countries are shitting themselves again.
