Training For 2023

Getting more and more difficult and a lack of fitness on our side, likely to become an issue as the game proceeds.
Them and us?

Young Balta Valistuin
Baker Grimes Rioli D,
McIntosh Hopper Pickett
Rioli M Jr Bolton Martin
Cumberland Lynch Riewoldt
Nankervis Taranto Prestia
I/C Cotchin Graham Miller and Short
Em Clarke.

Broad and Ross notable omissions but would really love to see Clarke and Young, who are likely to be a part of it if we are to prove good enough for top 4.

If we're wondering where our forward pressure will come from, 'Rhyan Mansell' is potentially part of the answer.

Trent cotchin is probably the best applicator of pressure richmond has ever known,

And hes joining Maurice Rioli Jr. in the forward line,

And people are wondering where the pressure comes from?

Its like having josh jenkins and daniel menzyl in your forward line, and wondering how your gonna deal with balls that clear the pack

I have thought the same but is Cotchin going to be playing as a defensive forward? I don't know but it would look to be a great option, just doesn't sound like he has had that role in the practice matches.

Is he quick enough ezy? That’s the question, closing speed is a young mans ability. I’m genuinely concerned we will compromise on speed and try to fit 3 old blokes in the forward 50.

When he hasnt got the ball,

And when cotchys shoulders come over,

Hes the fastest man on earth over 20m

Id say the role they will give him will be that of

All-time great triple premiership captain

In the prime of his forward career

Marlion and Shorty have trained fully

Soldo left ground early but wasn't in my team anyway.

Miller trained well in defence and now involved in ruck drills

You heard availabilities here first and the Soldo injury confirmed below.

I’m buoyed by the fact that Gibcus is listed as “medium term”. Usually that’s what, 4-8 weeks away maybe? He’d be at the latter stages of that estimate but still positive

Gibcus still only walking after his 'Nasty' infection which has probably set him back a month?

So after all that we're only missing Tarrant and possibly Gibcus from our best 22.
