Gameday - Tigers V Bombers

What is wrong with this side and close games - this is the third year now we throw away games we should win so it’s our DNA.

I can only think that we have grown mentally fat on our 3 flags.

That game was some of the worst execution, ball handling, decision making, double grabbing and general error riddled f ups i have ever seen.

This has been going on for 3 years now. Underskilled. We are a terribly underskilled team.

Still can’t believe the amount of errors we made.
Spot on last 3 seasons and we're talking 3 time premiership players to.I noticed it in preseason to our skills and kicking we're awful the worst in the competition.

As soon as they got within five points, I said to myself watch them now kick a goal and win.

*smile* this game sometimes. So disappointing.

Have said it before and I'll say it again, our over 30yo forward line of Cotch, Reiwoldt, Pickett, Dusty is way too slow, half the reason we're having to bomb it forward. Dusty is the only one earning his keep. Have to play Jack, we have nothing else.

A few are potting Nanks, I was surprised to see him play so soon, but imagine if it was a Samson/Miller ruck. Samson had just 5 hitouts, we would have been smashed tonight.

The issues are we have a negating ruck & not an offensive first ruck, we don’t win clearance under pressure and our foot skills are so poor, we turn it over and can’t hurt teams enough on the scoreboard.

How did Stringer get so much space in the centre square. FMD

I can make a case to drop both of our co captains for next week as they are giving us nothing tonight
If we had anyone to take their place. But recruiting/drafting has been rubbish. Flankers and midgets. No-one who can mark. Ryan will be good but two years away from an AFL body.

If Samson can't mark the footy then why on earth play him.? Put Miller in there, at least he can ruck and mark the thing.

This is what happens when you try and turn an unskilled small defender into a goal sneek. A winger into a forward. Playing a bloke merely so they can get to 300 games. Have one tall forward to pick from because you constantly want to draft skinny flankers.
What's wrong with Prestia?
They only had 1 true midfielder tonight and he still bent us over.
Our backline is a mess.
Calamity after Calamity.
The forwards don't create the goals our defenders do.
We lose Broad we will finish bottom 4 next year.
Nakas was useless. He has been crap for almost 18 months now.
Flappers & Pickett are finished.
Cotchin & Riewoldt need a farewell game asap.
Sampson has a long way to go. Too timid for a ruckman.
It's crap because we shouldve had 2 or 3 kids coming through now but they aren't there.
Ross is ok when he has the ball tottaly useless without it.
Dusty is again ok with the ball but is a statue without it.
Graham is sooo slow now it's hard watching him.
Baker was on Langford. Wtf

I thought ross was one of our best.

0-12 in 1 goal games? Thats leadership or coaching or a 4000-1 coincidence.
Agree with you regarding Ross, at least when has the ball he creates something positive.

We all knew it was going to happen. We have seen this show all too many times.

We n
Jack No why you do that
Normally praise him for those type flick-on's, but that one probably cost us the points in all honesty, hold that ball in the forward line and they have no way of getting down to their end for that last score.

Oh well, that's how the game goes unfortunately, you win some, you lose some, but overall, the contrast between last week and tonight was incredulous and needs addressing for sure, that was simply NOT good enough what was on display tonight.
