Ok, our era has ended. We paid tribute to an unbelievable dynasty today.

But we must move on. On new era starts next week. Get rid of the dead wood. Play the next generation.

Out: Riewoldt, Cotchin, McIntosh, Graham, Pickett, Grimes

In: Bauer, Sonsie, Brown, Banks, Coulthard, Rioli (midfield)

Whilst I agree it’s an EOAE and am keen to see the youth given a chance but if we do as you’ve suggested above it’ll be a 100+ point loss.

Probably will anyway. I'd back the kids in to do as good or better than Pickett, McIntosh et al

Who cares nothing to gain .. Only thing to gain is experience for the kids .. so they get a taste before the new preseason .. However can't see the MC playing many of the kids .

My guess is it will depend on the outcome of the VFL game tomorrow. A win to us will likely shape the team for next week depending upon who will be eligible to play finals for the VFL side.

If the vfl team wins today they play finals which I assume start next week.
I am not sure the club would want to gut the vfl team

Yep a lot of the selections will come down to what happens in the VFL .

Anyone who needs a nip and tuck I’d be sending of to Dr Nick asap , wouldn’t be gifting a senior debut , however if anywhere near good form I’d be sending them to Port with the attitude of playing to your strengths and playing exciting attacking football
