Liam McBean

He may not have made it at AFL level, but geez he's had a bloody good career at State level.

A Glenelg legend.

Time for the prodigal son to come home, solve our key forward/small forward problem and take us to the promised land.

Immense talent, disappointingly small ass

Would it hurt to rookie him, maybe the current ass meta in the AFL is small enough to accomodate McJesus

Would've been handy this season when Tom went down.
Turns 30 next year, not sure picking him up again is the direction the club should be taking.

This is his level. Not every player can make it at AFL level for various reasons. McBean is one of them.

Full forward will cost us the match if we lose.

Doesn’t know how to drop the ball onto her foot.

Just reading Jack's book now and enjoying it a lot. This caught my eye.

McBean is now a 4 time leading goal kicker across the VFL and SANFL and a 2 time premiership player.

I still believe he could have been a handy forward with the right development.

Really harmed by our culture and coaching at the time.

Jack doesn’t say who called Liam weak. I wonder who did, a player, Dimma, coaching staff?

Would that be the toxic Leading Teams consultancy group?

That would have been when we tried "Leading Teams" it didn't work. The Hawks and the Scats hailed it as being vital to their premierships wins.

Never ceases to amaze me how often AFL clubs invite unqualified charlatans in and then give them almost unfettered access to their players without any real oversight.

We’ve seen it going very, very wrong too.

It was reported that players were asked to give feedback on other players.
Jack himself says he didn’t hold back initially. On reflection ( and no doubt not enjoying how he himself was critiqued ) regretted it and was one of the instigators to get the program removed.
