James Trezise

I'm confused - is this discussion about Brown on the Trezise thread or about Trezise?

Should we be worried about this kicking, it’s a bit scrappy.

Scrappy kicking off halfback is a problem these days

Looked much neater in the match sim than last year. It was my only concern with him but he seems to have addressed it.

The kid has game.
Natural footballer who knows how to use his body on the ground and in the air.
Rangy type. Reckon he could play wing too but we’d be underutilising his aerial game.

Yes. Nick Vlastuin is or Broady is the role he should be targeting (at least initially) with that strong aerial game.

This.

Shaping to be an inspired draft pick. You can add tackling to that body use. Reckon he's already our best/hardest tackler behind Nank.

Posted before but fantastic use of the VFL program.

The VFL program will net another player in Lefau.

I remember the club getting smashed by plenty on here for not taking a kpp and picking Coulthard and Trezise.

Why would anyone be unhappy about us not taking talls?
Not making value judgements. My post was in response to a comment that the Trezise pick may be an inspired choice.

The reality is that there is no point taking talls unless they are good ones

Thing is, supporters from other teams are happy with their draft picks too. Even the ones who took talls.
We won’t know for 3 yrs who ended up on top.
At least Trezise and Coulthard looks promising. But bit early to poke at those who wanted talls because here we are still short on a couple who could be developing in our VFL program instead of at other clubs.
