Can’t stand this plastic club. We had some old bloke who supported the Suns give us a mouthful after the game. The coward was on level 2 leaning over and mouthing off.
It’s sad for them it takes the opposition team to fill their pathetic stadium.
I hope they never see a finals series.
Balta plays his best footy following the footy. I would start him as first ruck against De Koning.
He didn't have one bloke blocking him, another hanging off him and a third coming over the top.
He definitely should spend significant time on ball every match.

Pickett, Grimes, McIntosh and a lesser extent but still the same Prestia. All over 30. We will lose games anyway so we are better of losing seeing if we can find decent kids than losing with guys that won’t be here when we can challenge again.

Balta might be a defender but unfortunately he's the best forward available atm. As insurance, in case Lynch isn't available later in the year we need these options. For this reason I'm happy for yze to persevere and see if we can mould a utility. The defence got routed at times today but it wasn't as much to do with the personnel down there. We could've had 3 Rances and still got smashed considering how it was coming in.

He didn’t play defence at all in the third quarter. He was pinch hitting in the ruck and rotating forward.
He was pushing back while in the ruck. Took a defensive contested mark. I remember saying if onoy he could do that playing forward. You could see he was just way more comfortable defensively than when he's up forward.
Balta has to stay forward until Lynch returns and we find a viable second tall forward option. Koschitzke isn’t it, Ryan certainly isn’t it, nor a resting ruckman.

We aren't as bad as that abysmal first half. But we aren't a finals side now. Look the issues straight in the eye, and commit to the next 2-3 drafts. The plan should be to secure as many R1 picks as possible. Don't pussy foot with players who aren't good enough. Chase a gun recruiter.
