We have thought long and hard about this and North decide to bid on Nick Daicos.

We see Nick as a clear standout this year and justifiably deserves Pick 1.

Over to the Pies if fhey will match the bid.

North select Jason Horne-Francis

Contrary to what we said about Nick Daicos behind closed doors we see Jason as a generational type player. One that will transform this club and bring it back to the glory days of the 90’s when Carey was wearing the jumper.

He plays like Dangerfield but a much better kick of the footy.

Right. Finn Callaghan. Will do a write up later but it’s got to be him.

Everyone is saying it’s a clear top 4. Make the easy pick.

When you get a chance to take elite talls you take them.

And this guy is elite. In every way. One grabber, dual sided by foot, dual sided by hand, reads the flight, knows when to lead. Not to mention the pace, agility and leap of a gazelle.

Might take a couple of years but will be a match winner when he fills out. Alongside King Gold Coast will end up with the best one two forward line punch in the land.

Pick 3 Mac Andrew

Note - RFC should take him first pick in the real thing as well ILHO.

And with that Gold Coast pack up and head to the pub. We'll be 5 pints deep and dancing naked on the tables by the time you lot arrive.

I am a little disturbed by the thought of Leysy dancing naked on the tables.
There have been a lot of horror stories from the Gold Coast and this might be the biggest

In the real thing I would be stoked with either Hobbs or Ward to make it to the Tigers.
I doubt if they'll be available, and definitely no chance we get to choose from the two.
