2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Teams know to flood back against us, leaving few options especially when the kicker is under pressure. Lack of composure plus inexperience doesn't help
I don't know why we don't just kick it out of bounds in the forward pocket at that point. Better than kicking it to their player by far. Gives you time to set up defense at least.

We would often kick to the pocket when Riewoldt was the only tall forward, in hope of a throw-in. Those were the days when we had Rance, Grimes and Vlaustin marking everything in the backline because of the pressure we'd put on their kicker, just as teams against us do now.

Any news on training for Short. Looking good? Don't expect Trezise to come straight back in.

Did Cumberland train this week?
The old saying is that desperate men do desperate things, but not the RFC match commitee.
Such a pity.
Pretty good chance Cumberland will be a very good player for another club.
Think Morton who got a premiership with Swans, after Wallace's tirades.

about time to give Mansell a nice long term contract me thinks.

Moreton played 12 games for Swans

I think the chances of Noah Cumberland playing for another AFL side are closer to negligible than pretty good

Wouldn’t matter if he did Livingstone wouldn’t pick him anyway
Maybe if he changed his name to Noah Mansell he’d get a chance
Noah needs to tell his manager to shop him around he’s wasting his time with us

Agreed, he hasn't even been named an EMG with our injury list which isn't a great sign & his VFL form is ave at best

Cumberland can't get a game when we have many injuries and have won one game so far..
That wouldn't be enticing to any of the other 17 clubs.

Wouldn’t be judging players if they can or cant get a game with us when we gift games to certain players and don’t give Cumbo a go

Main Training today Friday:

Samson
Steely
McAuliffe

When broken into lines were tagged as VFL and have now left track.

In other news Cumberland, Tresize and Coulthard also with VFL boys.

Bauer, Prestia and Balta are doing full training with main group at this point.

No final analysis as I have to leave half way through today.

Cheers

Im ok with that. Clearly there is a reason they are holding Ryan back atm, personally i think its all about physical strength for him, hes got the tools but his core strength needs work. Nothing wrong with him dominating in the vfl whilst he works on whatever it is they want him to(im just assuming its strength).

Ok with McAuliffe playing in the twos as well, needs a good hitout after not playing much footy the past 4-5 weeks.

WTF could possibly have been more important that today's MAIN session ?

Bewildering decision thats shows a total disregard for your disciples & an abhorrent lack of committment
