I feel like Ralphy has been reading my posts. He touches on a number of issues that have been discussed around here.

- Yze's win/loss record. It’s going to look pretty bad at the end of his first contract and history suggest not many first time coaches survive with that kind of record.

Depends entirely on the boards n fans understanding of the situation we found ourselves in when Dimma packed up the suitcase and whether genuine development and improvement of system n structure can be seen by the end of 2026. Would be very surprised if Ouzo doesn't get another 2 years added on sometime during 2026.

- Taranto and Hopper. Despite what Dunne says, they were sold a pup and have a right to feel upset about it. The question now is what will they do? Said it before but I’m expecting at least one of them to request a trade at seasons end.

Who knows? Maybe, maybe not.

- Length of the rebuild. Even Dunne admits it will be close to a decade but what he doesn’t admit is there are no guarantees we’ll even get there.

Interesting times ahead.

Would be bloody funny if a CEO or Prez ever got up on the hind legs n announced the club was gunna be *smile* Like Essendrugs or Carlscum or #Lolnorf for the next 20 or 30 years. Reckon they'd be carted straight out the door n their membership would get nuked.
Reality n history will tell ya that under the draft system you're generally looking at around 5 years to get the rebuild / rejuvenation to get back to around finals competitive and then sometime during the next five years you get back to being a genuine flag chance. That's so long as everything goes bloody right, hit a speed bump or cop the hiccups along the way n things can get awful ugly in a hurry, as 1980 to 2017 would demonstrate.

His got the next 2 seasons to show improvements and a system of a game plan but whoever thinks we're going to win more then 2 , play four qtrs and not have thrashings needs to wakeup. This is a rebuild we're looking for green growth weekly in the cubs and patches in quarters.

It’s as if they’ve completely ignored the club cutting back its list to the bone. More brutal than hawthorn but the rise might be quicker.

If Yze is coaching for the future (a game plan that can only be executed by a skilled, synchronous team) then I applaud him for it

King's bad enough on his own pills. Writing off Freo after yesterday's exhibition game where Bolton & Walters were playing for the other team which was a de facto rep side full of stars probably worth more than double the salary cap of a regular club side - sounded like one of the peanut gallery who post here & Big footy freaking out over today's meaningless three quarter morning tea hit & giggle, except he gets paid to be a hysterical windbag & a clueless flog.
