Without being rude to only get 3/1 in an 8 leg same game multi is crazy poor odds. That's less than $1.2 each leg!

Chance of one of them having a slightly off game or getting injured.......I'd love to be holding those bets each week.

That’s why the betting firms love multis.
 
Yep, multis are for suckers. The more legs the greater the sucker. Same game ones can kill you. You can get everything right and one bloke rolls an ankle and you're done.

Speaking of suckers, those dopey cowards the bagmen slipped up and opened us $1.82 to beat Essington this week. Plundered. Can still get $1.71 with Betr.

I'm gonna have a throw at the stumps with Norf this week. $6.50 with 365 to beat the Swanth, with a line of 37.5. Except for R21 last year, when the GF-bound Sydney were flying and beat the spooners by 38, the previous six matches between these sides have been decided by 14 points or less. The Swans have no talls, Mills is out. Norf will lift and can hurt them in the midfield and with Larkey up front.
 
Sam Mitchell tests positive to COVID. How convenient. How many players will also have it? Hawks taking the tank to new levels!!!

I try to bet on indigenous players for the Yiooken award.

On Dan Rioli at $21 and Marlion at $67.

Marlion is an optimistic bet given his impact forward hasn’t been great, but who knows what happens if he kicks a couple of early goals
 
Every now and then the bookies give you odds that you just can’t understand.

And it happened this week, giving us $1.70 about Collingwood to beat the Suns.

Hope I haven’t jinxed it, but so far so good.

yeah I saw that price and thought 'wow, 70% interest, tax free, paid daily'

but then I studied the form

Pies have been flat, falling in over ordinary sides, while GC have a couple of good scalps.

The Tiger Covid spooked me too, but it looks like GC have it.

theres a bizarre market next week Brisbane V WC

brisbane 1-1000, WC 50-1

ive never seen anything like it.

every crook on the planet will be looking to fix it.

Its astonishing they're allowed to bet on it.

have $200k to $10m on WC; pay all four umps and 2 lions KPP $250k to hook it;

get someone with covid to cough all over lions gatorade tank at training;

and you make $8.5m

its the most corruptible betting market ive ever seen

Brisbane lost to Hawks without a fix.

Just had a look on the TAB site, $51 about the Eagles, betting suspended on the Lions ????

Cant even back em at $1.01 at the moment ????

Never seen it before where you can only back 1 horse in a 2 horse race.

Correct, and absurd it is.

If that’s the price they are putting up then the Eagles should be longer odds. More like $201.

The bookies will win on the match I reckon. Plenty of punters will chuck a couple of bucks on WC just for the hell of it.
