Thanks Benny. Big shoes to fill.

I heard Tim Livingstone and Luke Meehan are going to job-share the role.

Vale Benny G.
The epitome of the Richmond Man.
A breath of fresh air is required, through every organisation from time to time.
The new CEO can ditch the extortionate, unwieldy development plan.
No harm in reneging on the costly folly, as Vic & Qld govts have done with their white elephant projects.
A new building is no guarantee of on-field success and performance, as we can see.
Easy, he's not dead.

Here's hoping he gets into the AFL head house somewhere. God knows we need some representation there.

Make him the umpires boss.

This is what the other side of the mountain looks like.

It was always going to happen, and he is going to Tassie, nothing more certain.

AFL would have backed the truck up with cash because he is the best in the biz. By far.

BUT, it still feels like a kick in the guts. BUT, still feels like it is last person out turn out the lights.

The IP that has drained out of the place the last 18 months is astounding. Feels almost a historic phase of departures from a powerful era at one time without there being a incident or communication breakdown.

Blair Hartly and Tim Livingstone are the hold over and you have to wonder what they are thinking. And will Benny come back for Blair for the Tassie team?

It's not rock bottom but how quickly things turn. Huge task ahead. This draft and Chris Toce's work will determine how quickly we stay here. A new CEO will have a lot easier job if the team is competitive in his first year.

I admire Benny for not doing a Dimma on us and allowing the transition to be thoughtful and calm,
What Dimma giving the club 6 mnths to find the right coach? Your right should've given the club 15yrs notice.

Superstar.

Guess we all knew this was coming. Seems the club has been preparing for it for a while too, obviously. Big shoes for someone to fill.

Welcome Andrew Demetriou! :ROFLMAO:

What an amazing leader and administrator he's been for our club. And what a legacy he leaves.

Will be spoken about as an icon of the RFC for many many decades to come.

It is completely no surprise. Outside family, and RFC, his other great passion is Tasmanian Football.

The opportunity to lead the Tasmania Football Club and leave his mark on the Apple Isle was too great. The timing too perfect.

Onya Benny. Great Penguin lad who made good!

Benny is a POWERHOUSE signature to have. His return is long overdue IMO. Add to that a new coach...

Could we be looking at a new ERA at Tigerland?
Yes, we could. From 2009.

100,000 members, financial stability and three premierships. Epic.

Yeah but you’d like to think though that the legacy he has left is that there’s a plethora of good people with an ingrained cultural outlook that will ensure the club rolls on. Not withstanding though that a new CEO will need to honour that legacy.
