I wonder where Campo fits into this. He took on the Crows for a few games when Phil Walsh died.

Nice guy, but a speech like that shows how deluded a person like him is. He comes across like a 17yo schoolboy who was given a free managerial role in a company.

He may well be a brilliant coach, but reckon he may be the kind of coach that would fill a whiteboard with diagrams and formulas that the players would have no idea what any of it meant. Onfield they look paralysed which for me supports my thoughts on what kind of coach he is.

But as the list post above shows, their list is so unbalanced and young that they are going to be so beaten up in the next 12 months it may be impossible for them to ever reach their potential.

Bolton was that eager to be a senior coach he may have not pushed back hard enough on the s**t sandwich of a list he was given by Silvagni.

I've heard some interesting comments from norf players on this. Goldstein on Sunday Footy Show even (indirectly) hinted Shaw was better than Scott.

David Teague is taking over. Let's hope they beat Brisbane at the Dump this week as it'll help us.

I wouldn’t expect Goldie to say anything else - I assume he wants to keep playing this year and maybe into next ;D

Nice guy is the general consensus, like a lot of teachers not strong enough in the real world, I found him also a bit pompous and excuse making.

Still think Logiudice is the worst president of all time and SOS lol , just you can play the game doesn’t mean you have any idea how it works

Agree. These two should definitely go otherwise the next coach will cop the same *smile* again internally.....whatever it is.

Reality is they went for the cheap 'Clarko' buy after seeing how good Dimma and Bevo had been in re-building teams.

Qu LTRTR - what’s the difference with those players in yellow?

They arrived at Carlton before Bolton.

out of curiosity, what is the average percentage of players on an AFL club list that started their careers at another club? and where does Carlton rank on this list? 1st?

23% have played senior games elsewhere, which seems surprisingly high but points to the fact there are too many teams.

16 Carlton
14 Port Adelaide
13 Collingwood, Gold Coast, Hawthorn, St.Kilda
11 Brisbane, Fremantle, GWS
10 Essendon, Melbourne, North Melbourne, West Coast
9 Geelong
8 Richmond
7 Sydney, Western Bulldogs
6 Adelaide

Explains why their senior core is so thin.

Great thanks Lee. Pretty grim reading and some classic list clogging names there.

Thanks - makes sense now.

Good to see the tigers build our own - of our 8, apart from Weller I think we have recruited wisely from other clubs.

They want to try ratten again.
Then maybe pagan.
Bet they win this week

Unless they have joined the A League, they have no chance. They can’t score

One thing about those stats that is quite sweet is that until their recent horror run Carlton had the record for never having won the spoon.

I love Carlton. The gift that just keeps giving at the moment. May SOS and Judd be in charge for many a years.
