I mentioned this in the Ryan thread that Mansell to go out and Baker moved to the forward line.

With Young an added defender someone needs to make way.

It will be very interesting to see how we line up.
As far as I could tell Miller was the 7th back last week.
Grimes, Balta, Drioli, Broad, Vlastuin, Baker & Miller.
Young replaces Miller.

Not sure on that. Miller played a bit of back ruck and forward.

He played both roles. Rotated in as the 7th defender at times, and rotated into the ruck and the forward line at other times.

Dimma obviously wants to try out specialists at either end, rather than someone that can play all over the field, but we lose a runner doing it. If we can control the air though, it will probably be well worth it.

I'm hoping Ryan provides a genuine alternative marking target to Lynch. Yet to be seen whether that can happen yet but I understand them trying it.
His preseason form was great. Just hope he takes it up a notch.
Thinking we'd be playing Delilah as a deep stay at home forward with the Lynchman told to get on his bike n roam around as much as possible.
Crowbaits would be shittin themselves over the Lynchman getting away without adequate cover so their defence would be hovering round him like demented dunny budgies on a hot summers day. Which would leave Delilah one out deep n he can take a grab or three.

How confident are we about the game this arvo?
Dimma was full of praise for the Crows in his interview.
Must admit they looked very good and fast in that 1st quarter last week.

Never confident playing interstate against the home team that choked in the 2nd half the previous week

specially the Crows who always seem to grow that extra leg against Richmond even when they are the worst team in the league

Interesting selections, assume Mansell played round 1 to address forward pressure and now we drop that role and split the pinch hitting ruck/kpp role between two.

Going to be interesting to see what our pressure looks like on their transition, MJR is going to have to do a power of work.
