Changes v GC

Too top heavy. I'm assuming since Vlaustin's corkie isn't listed as an injury in match reports, he'll go around again. The hand injury that Chol faced will be interesting, but I'm guessing he goes around again.

Out: Ryan, Broad, Balta, Aarts
In: Miller, Stack, RCD, Caddy.

Miller takes Balta's spot
Shuffle Vlaustin into Broad's spot, and Stack into Vlaustin's.
RCD comes in as another mid to help there in place of Ryan.
Aarts just chose a really bad time to drop off in form. Castagna not kicking goals, but still finding a bit of the ball. I'm bringing Caddy in as a third tall/small mid. The faster guys aren't trapping the ball in, in our 50. Might as well go someone who could contribute the other way.

like it.

After sifting through the info available on injuries, VFL form etc (and guessing who may be available), thoughts are:
In: Lynch (if fit), Miller, RCD, Caddy & Stack
Out: Balta (inj replaced by Miller); Broad (replaced by Stack), Ryan (replaced by Caddy in a forward only role), Chol (experiment over) & Castagna (just too poor two weeks in a row).

Coleman-Jones in the ruck with anyone (probably Miller) to provide a chop out. Wouldn't mind seeing Cotchin at half back either.

Caddy for Aarts has a bit of out Hyde in Tivendale about it.

Outs: Mars, Boobs,Floss all injured Ryan,Chol
Ins Not sure yet as I did not see VFL

It appears there is still a problem with Astbury so It wouldn't surprise me to see Kmac slotting into the backline along with Miller even with Vlaustuin playing so that will give us a place on the wing. A last chance saloon for Naish? . We also need a bit of hardness back so has to be a place for Mansell. Talk of Stack and Parker based on VFL reports seems premature

I am not a subscriber that you need to be dominating reserves to play seniors. Some players just naturally go that next level once they are in the senior team. Stack definitely sits in this category. We saw it two years ago when he debuted.

If game is moved to Melbourne, hope that the AFL, GCs,Tigers give members home rights as a replacement game.

Caddy was likely always going to be dropped with Pickett coming back. Rioli was basically out for Prestia. I'm with AngryAnt, if 3 of our backline are already going out, there's no way Houli will be dropped. If Castagna goes out, it will likely be for Rioli, but I think Castagna will stay. Didn't play as I would like but picked up a few possies and had reasonable pressure stats. Our forward line has big issues. Nothing really ready yet to replace them.

I am not going to criticise our own players especially two who have given such excellent service. But their performances simply don’t justify continuing selection.
Looking at our opposition over the weekend.
Simply put RCD and Dow are now better prospects.
