Contract List

Caddy will have just turned 30 when his contract ends.
He might have slowed right down by then, so the contract is a good length.
Naish / Turner / Martyn / Ralph Smith all in development to fill his multi-premiers boots

Good sound deals.

Lock away the core. Keep the depth.

Both easily would’ve had clubs come for them.

We’ve got to get sigs from Broady graham Nankervis and Pickett in the books.

we’ve also got to pray like hell that some of the kids we’ve drafted can play good footy at the highest level.

I Don’t see markov Garthwaite or Miller at tigerland next year. The first two have Had a few years To pull a career together. they were celebrating the 2017 premiership.
Add Rance and that’s 4 spots.

So player list numbers will be reduced by ???
No one knows.

say it’s 4.
I’d release turner English Garthwaite Eggs
So that Gives us 40.

speaking of Eggs, what happens to the rookie list?
Is it even necessary?
i think the B category is valuable to get a guy from a basketball Background.
maybe just have room for two and call that the rookie position.

not officially announced but Graham is signed.
Nankervis not far behind.

Our draft picks aren’t that flash.

Rance retired
Houli rumoured to retire.
broad to go to another club.

draft three juniors.

keep pickett Aarts Collier-Dawkins & Miller.

Looks like some of the young kids who haven't had alot of chances to show their worth will be cut. Players like naish english miller turner etc. No VFL this year has really hurt them.

I can't understand why lists need to be shorten.
If the club has the capabilities to keep 4 rookies, then they should be allowed.
Otherwise we will cop it because we have been so dominate basically with the same team we haven't had the opponntnity to play kids.
Therefore some will disappear from the AFL without getting the opponntnity to play.
They must allow clubs to keep up to 4 rookies if the lists are reduced to 38

Last rumour was it will be 36 Primary 4 category A Rookies and 2 Category B's but all speculation at this point

I can’t believe the Afl haven’t finalised this yet along with the salary cap.

Looks like english turner miller garth could unfortunately miss out. Will be interesting what happens with Markov and Broad. Also wonder if Houli goes again.

That's a lot of players out of contract end of next year. Big 18 months coming up

Houli Broad and Pickett need contracts
Miller and Garthwaite hanging in by their fingernails you’d think.
or our next gen defenders

thanks to English and turner for their efforts

There are a few players out of contract at the end of 2021 we will need to work on. Bolton, Balta and Baker would all be in line for pay rises.

Pickett Broad & Houli the sighing priorities now.
Tigerfan, you do an amazing job with this list...well done and thank you. I have a question. Do you have a similar list for our coaches/footy staff by any chance? This list is almost as important as the playing list!

Broad and Markov are must signings the way I see it. They provide us so much flexibility in the back half and allows us to use Short and Baker further up the ground. we would be even more devastating with short and baker as small forwards.
