Great match for Cummins - best figures and highest score, and 9/15 wickets to fall.

Target down to 141. The Marsh decision might've been decisive.

Great efforts once again from Paddy. Still a chance if we don't break momentum early tomorrow morning.

He has a bunch of guys that dont have one ounce of the grit determination, pride, application talent or desire he had, must drive him nuts.

Yet he clearly loves the Marshs. Langer is more prone to bias than most he should not be involved in selection at all.

Would be a lucky win. India declared twice.

Might be down to instructions to try to put pressure on the bowlers by looking to score, but the techniques are not up to it on these decks. We've actually scored faster, 2.71 to 2.46.

Agree with this. Stop trying to push the issue. Just play your natural game FFS.
It's what India do and now that the ship has sailed it's how Cummins and Lyon are batting - time is not an issue so just play every ball on its merits.
We only had to make 300 in the first innings and we'd have won this Test already.

Declared twice and lost - only happened twice in Test cricket:

The biggest shame about this Aussie team is we have a great bunch of bowlers who are good to watch.

But the batting lineup is garbarge i just cannot watch them.

This side has nothing about it when its batting to make me want to watch it.

Attending my first BBL game Renegades v Sixers. Underwhelming so far. Its almost like the T20 game has skipped a generation and sides are happy to just push the 1s and 2s.

It's like watching a kids film at the cinema.

The most entertaining thing about watching the BBL on TV is the banter in the commentary box.

True. The flashy lights when the ball hits the stumps excite me a bit too.... ;D

Seriously CA, get a few intelligent noggins together and create a better format of this cricket!!

Sir Alistair Cook. :rofl

33 Test hundreds is not to be sneezed at, but a surprise all the same.

According to Wiki, first English cricketer knighted since Alec Bedser in the 90's (excluding Botham who received one for his charity work). Bradman's a bit lonely out here. Didn't know Bill Woodfull turned down a knighthood.

Hard to tell what an ex player offers as a coach, however Brad Haddins style as a batsman would have to be the worst attitude our batsman could have a5 this point, Haddin just about always just tried to blast his way out of trouble, that’s the last thing we need, patience and grit is what all our top order need , though I still think this is not a great period of producing naturally talented test batsman. Still don’t get how so many elite junior talent can come through the path with poor defensive techniques .

Incredible difference in knowledge and understanding of the game between Border and one of our selectors in M Waugh , edit , both just said we have to stick with Shaun Marsh , Mark Waugh says his been unlucky . Hit the ball in the middle of the bat and you don’t need a lot of luck.

I’ve been to a couple since the BBL started , I’ve found it an entertaining couple of hours, very much aimed at the kids, one every couple of years is enough as I can’t link myself to any team.

Has Maxwell been mentioned at all to come in for Sydney ?

It really was a dull game Mr B.

I imagine Maxy has zero chance of playing in Sydney.

I have been to two bbl games and unfortunately both were over after 5 overs in the second innings. It is perfect for tv.
