Shocking review burnt just now. Amateur.

First time I’ve seen Carey. Iron gloves.

A convoluted change in my life-situation has resulted in me being able to watch an obscene amount of live cricket lately and I have to confess that seeing how the teams (ab)use the DRS is one of the most entertaining aspects of the game.
They simply cannot get their collective heads around the "keep them for the howler" concept.
I am convinced that the only question they ask themselves is "gee, do you think that might be out" (or not out as the case may be).
If you're talking about the review I think you are ... just unbelievable. I could have almost understood it if it had been Kohli - the way he was batting it was worth the punt, but it was the other bloke!

If I was a captain, then as far as the batting is concerned I would have a team rule ... if you are given out LBW, you can ONLY review if you know you've nicked it.

Zampa pitching outside leg. Either the bowler or the keeper had to speak up. Then when Zampa had him cold and the umpire somehow said no, we had no recourse.

Pretty solid win in the end. Zampa was expensive but his wickets were decisive.

Handscombe should've reviewed his.

In ODI 2 Khawaja rightly told Finch not to review his LBW decision, but didn't for his LBW in ODI 3, perhaps because Finch was close to his century.

Check out the pitch in the NZ v Bangladesh test, i've never seen a greener strip, it looks like a synthetic pitch.

Zampa is improving as an international bowler. The wrong un should be a regular feature.

Well done, L2, yes Leysy cricket is still fun when you get the creakies oiled up and going.

Be careful, though. A certain old bloke played an over 40s game a couple of years ago, made 40 (retired), took 2/20, a catch, and a run out and has been pestered ever since.

Some old bloke playing on one leg hit the winning boundary off the last ball in a semi-final today. Old bloke has a low opinion of his own batting and is sore but satisfied.

Something for you and Leysy to aspire to.

If you're good enough, even better to get into a suburban team and start in the 4ths with older blokes. I know two (spin bowler and mid order batsman) who moved up to the 1sts in their late 40s for a few games in the team I played in 20 years ago.

Cricket clubs are like that. Tommy Roach hit me into retirement a few years ago, but the club wouldn’t let go.

No chance of winning the world cup if S Marsh, Khawaja and Turner are in the side, Marsh and Khawaja can't field and Turner can't throw.

Great review Khawaja, now go on and carry your bat.

Aust 2/179 needing 359 to win, Khawaja 85, Handscombe 80 after 31 overs.

Khawaja out for 91 with the score 204. Aust need 9 runs an over, Maxwell has come out swinging, he smacked 2 fours off Bumrah in the first over he faced.

Could be a thriller.

Maxwell gone LBW reverse sweeping for 23 off 13, Aust 4/230. Handscombe 101 not out, he's batting beautifully.

Very poor form from the Indian crowd chanting Dohni Dohni at every opportunity, Pant hasn't done too much wrong.

Turner's 61 off 35, run rate down to 8 runs an over.

Turner dropped twice in an over, Kohli is not happy :rofl

Aust need 8 off 3 overs, Turner wow 81 off 41.
