Yep @TigerForce !

I don't listen to other team press conferences but are they as bad as Richmond's? If it's not wind noise because the media team hasn't purchased quality outdoor microphones and media equipment which can reduce wind noise and dampen ambient sounds, it's transmitted noise from the microphone stand whenever Dimma bumps the lectern. And good luck hearing the questions being asked. And its the same with the post game presser as well (which is down to the penny pinching AFL and broadcasters). Another example of amateur hour. *smile* me to tears and I usually just give up and stop watching.

It's so bad, sometimes it looks like no-one is asking a question and the coach talks to himself.

I suppose Dimma mentioned a 'Jack' in place of Prestia..."he's in the team"....and is a long-term prospect = Jack Ross?

GCS is a spoony mob and we should *smile* their eyes out. The market sees it that way. So does Hardwick.

Hardwick was at least pissed off to open the presser. On the brink of hostile. He's set to push back on any season over narratives from the media. Alluded to The Phoney Season. Said that sides that are 9-1 could miss the eight.

Hardwick said that this week fans will see us trying some new things. Interesting. He means it.

He was full of praise for Gold Coast because their form is no worse than ours. And Witts really will be a handful if Soldo can't smash into him for an hour. Hardwick prevaricated on playing Ben "Dimma, Dimma, we can't hear. We can't *smile* hear." Miller. Said the Witts load would be shared between Soldo and the other rucks but would not commit to the idea that Ben Minson would play.

Interesting that he disclosed that Broad would get Atrosius and that Hardwick banks Broad to beat his opponents each week. And that Broad would beat Atrosius. High handed. Is he calling Atrosius a show pony? A peaheart? Sounded like quite a slap.

I don't like us first up and the Dump. But I really Hardwick sides the week after they lose the game but win the big indicators like clearance, scoring shots and I50. 60/51 I50 our way. Ouch. Even in 2012 we were reliable the week after that kind of number.

I'm interested in this trying new things idea.

It is so amateur, get some bloody microphones to the journos asking questions. The number of times you hear Dimma reply something like "he has been working on that" and you have no idea what he's talking about because the question could not be heard.

Not good enough.

Looks like that speech about the 'up the stairs' at the B&F was all dreamer stuff. A terrible site for camp, injured players in pre-season, this is a fraud on all members who paid.

Time for seniors to be traded and coaches to be gone. Starting to wonder if Teague is any better now. Kingsley's the big loss.

Been saying it for a while club has dropped the ball and rested on it's moral stopped being ruthless and investing in our football department.

The signs we're there in preseason blind freddy could see it our skills and kicking look unfit etc and our game plan doesn't stack up.

The bloke has had access to several generational superstars and now that most have aged or left he has nothing.

This is the third year of middling *smile* and the horizon looks even worse.

I can handle not being good enough, but what I can’t handle is this game plan. I’m saying it every week now, it’s completely unwatchable.

Over-possess the ball until you die.

If the great man is such a great coach and unworthy of criticism, then how can we have a list full of players who are ill equipped to play the modern game and a game-plan that quite frankly doesn't even look like it was planned?

I thought last week the first half was the blueprint. We hit targets, we won the ball and we pressured. What the heck went wrong this week?

Today we got bent over and spanked by a side who are rubbish and missing their best player. They closed us down and did not allow space at all. We dump kicked, missed targets... you name it.

Yep. He seems bereft of ideas. We are terrible to watch and the skill level is atrocious; nowhere near the level required in an elite competition.

I think it is time. 3 flags in 14 seasons is a magnificent return for a club that was in the abyss before he came along. He's done his job; everyone has an expiry meter and it looks to me like his is here now. There is no shame in it. 14 years as head coach at the one club is a very long time.

Our efforts since 2020 have been pretty ordinary. Made the finals last season but how many games did we blow in the same fashion; costing us a real shot at it. Never learned from the mistakes made. This season is a disaster so far. Driven off the cliff at 100 miles an hour.

He should think about a graceful resignation at the end of the season and let the club move into a renewal phase. He can walk away a legend of the club with the gratitude of us all for the flags and his role in turning us back into a powerhouse of the competition. I can't see that he is up for a the rebuild and renewal that it seems the club is going to need. He has already done that once.
