i am only new to this group but you guys are amazing. the bloke is a tiger die hard. it wasn't long ago he was destroying Buckley and Hird. at present we have hard nuts like bowdo, kingy, tiva, rojo, petts etc. he is what we are missing at the moment.....someone with grunt that will stick to his man like glue and sacrifice his own game for the team good. he inspires teammates with his fearless attack on the ball and is really strong for his size. his kicking skills are lacking but he more than compensates with his straight line attack at the sherrin.this is what we need right now after the last 2 weeks.i believe he deserves every possible chance to come up this year and i for one support him every step of the way. go duncs 8)

Welcome glove, in fact after that post double welcome. :) :)

If you've read the boards over the years you'll realise that the Laff's and Diggleses bag Dunc out of habit (and to stir me I think. ;))

Their repertoire has worn a little thin so I choose to ignore their same old messages repeated ad nauseum.

If the guy won the Brownlow they'd still bag him.

I know who I'd choose to have in the trenches with me if my life depended on it. (and it's not Diggles, ha)

I secretly suspect they are closet supporters of Dunc, one of the bravest, most loyal players in Richmonds history.

Richmond will be a far better team when Dunc resumes.

The fact can't be ignored though that he took 9 rounds before he could play his first game last season, and it's taking longer this year. His body has taken a battering for the Richmond Football Club and sadly it's robbing us of the pleasure of watching Dunc play.

Here here digller your honesty is refreshing in this world of terror and fear....I have to agree with all you say its time his under 12 skills were put to rest once and for all he is taking the place of a rookie.....Saddam refused to retire gracefully and look what happened to him. What that club needs down there is Ben from big brother telling it like it is

Here here Laffs. Maybe they could put Duncan in as an intruder in Big Brother. He needs a new job.

He might have stopped Buckley and Hird, but if you looked at the scoreboard we were still flogged. The days of having a tagging midfielder who doesnt hurt the opposition are gone. Good riddans Dunc.

I have one thing to say about Dunc: As long as we can afford to have players like Pettifer, Rogers, Vardy, Houlihan, Biddiscombe, King, Mills etc on the list, we can afford to have Dunc. He's no worse than that crop of duds.

Happy Birthday Mellow Yellow!

Happy Birthday mellow......Have a good one... A bit bizarre having happy b/day wishes on a depressing thread like this one. Enjoy your day.

Haahaha! That was the best I could do to defend Dunc. Ok, Ok, here's another attempt: Duncan Kellaway is the Forrest Gump of the Richmond side. A dim-witted (in terms of footy smarts), big hearted, lovable guy who has got the most out of his god-forsaken natural ability. I salute you Dunc.

If and when Duncan does give it away, I hope the club immediately re-hires him in the newly-created position of a specialist "Hardness and Tagging" coach.

He'd be terrific at teaching young blokes how to tag, how to protect yourself when getting the hard ball, and give blokes like Cogs and Johnson some tips on breaking tags too. These are all skills like any others — we have ruck coaches, forward coaches, skills coaches, defensive coaches etc etc — why not a Hardness and Tagging coach?

Dean, maybe the club could employ him as a magician too. (he has fooled so many supporters and coaches for a long time).

Settle diggler. I'm sure Dunc has a few coaching tricks up his sleeve ;D

BTW, this is my 200th post. Applause please.

Yes, Duncan has given great service to the club, but it appears his time is very close to being up.

Took him to round 9 or 10 to play a game last year, and if the info about him doing his hamstring at training are correct, he would still be a few weeks away again this year.

I've always thought Duncan almost looked 'too muscled' in his legs particularly and this could result in him tearing muscles more easily

Those nuffas will hire him as a skills coach, now that wouldn't suprise me........no I agree with Diggler its time he was capuanoed and then sent to the middle east for his trip away and there will be a few others that should go with him

To vote for Duncan out of Punt Rd, send your text message to 696969 Spud, headed Capuanoe Dunc.

PS Surely your not suggesting a bus tour of jerusalem Laffs?
