Worst on ground.

Contracted for next year. Should collect his loyalty bonus 300k skippering the twos. Gone.

Love him. But gone.

That free against for deliberate (which was the correct call) looked like he didn't want to take the tackle (which is what he should have done).
Happened three times - reckon he cost us 4-5 goals! (Can't have captain play like that).

His decline has been steep!

The signs have been there for quite some time.
Which makes it all the more inexplicable that he was signed on for another year after R8.
It’s a poor List Management decision that must be reversed.
He should think heavily this week and then announce his retirement.
Along with Cotch.

Should have been subbed and left Miller On. Mini had to make the hard call and didn’t.

I reckon calls of Grimes being finished have been well over the top. But he was awful today. Absolutely awful.

Grimesy was off last year and struggled till his hammy went.

He hasnt really been up to his standard this season either.

The greatest fall faster and its more obvious to the observer as they fall from greater heights.

This isn't his only poor game this year though. He's had a few, and he's 32.

Doesn't look good.

Maybe the captaincy is weighing too heavily on him.

Yep. He’s always been one of my favourites but he’s been in decline for a couple of seasons now and today was just unbearable to watch.

It’s time.

JR8 Skippa Chimp Great Sage Equal of Heaven and Grimsey all should retire together.

Just like Warnie , MIllard McGrath and Justin Langer all did on that great day at the SCG.

Sadly weve got an away game at Port which sucks balls.

You’d think if Grimesy has any sense of “club first” he’d rescind his decision to play on next year.
He’s been an absolute outstanding warrior but the game is leaving him behind at a rate of knots.

He has to think of his future and right now he is so out of form from the normally ultra reliable Grimesy his future is probably at his farm and winery. Been one of our greats but like Cotch and Jack, they must look to their future outside footy

Winery’s are a money pit.
Hope this is not influencing his decision.
