I can hear the whinging now.

Tigers only had to leave the state once in their last 10 games before winning another premiership!

Herald Sun certainly going with it, but then again I guess it's true :), no excuses:

FIXTURE WINNERS AND LOSERS: TIGERS’ DREAM RUN HOME

"Richmond had a favourable run on its way to its 2019 premiership and it's a similar story a year later":)

**I still think the Tige's will have to win it without the double chance this year and as much as I hate to say GEELONG the biggest threat and have several players in career best form and, (Geelong supporters will tell you), they didn't have Tomma Lockett when we dumped them from the finals last year.

Richmond has just announced they are prepared to pay for the extra Seat on there flight from Queensland to present the Crows with the Wooden Spoon after their round 18 clash.
Tex will be accepting the spoon on behalf of the crows.
More to come.... :cupgold

Funny thing is if you read any social media most other teams supporters seem to allege that we are being favoured and their team is getting the raw deal.
They're all blinded by hate.

Just like the AFL executive, the umpires, almost all media and the MRP.

Wow short turnaround. We play the last game of Round 13, how many days will they give us?

We have 5 days break. West Coast are worse off, 4 days break and will travel on the day of the game. Perth to Brissy 4.5 hours. Then a bus ride for one hour brissy to GC.
Based on that we should beat them. Also, I reckon we are a better side than them anyway.

We went to port on a 4-day break and the last qtr couldn't go on with it. Port played cats after 6 days and looked super flat. Travelled on the day from Adelaide to Brissy then to GC 3 hours all up. I'm glad that after bombers we stay in QLD (well not sure of last game V Crows)

finally able to hit the ladder predictors.

I did several and mostly have us finishing 4th (dropping 1 more game - if we didn't drop a game, we ended up on top),

playing Brisbane in a Q final.

I got 3 GF opponents - port, bris, wc

Still reckon even though it pains me so much to say this but I wouldn’t ( yuck -wash my mouth out with soap )that the Cats with how in this pandemic season have their best chance.
My North cousin who is a pretty good judge and has won big $ the past 3 -4 years with his GF opponents months out , has us playing the Cats off in a GF.

Told him I doubt it.
May not get the whole band together in time to give it a crack like last year in a 22 round season.

We saw what taking injured players in aQF did to us in 18.

Anyway who knows.
In such a season as this I think on the day , with a full list, continuity of your group, leadership , coaching anything could happen.

Especially if most finals & the GF are all played inQld.

Deserving since they saved & enabled the game to continue and assisted Vic clubs in a hub unlike WA & SA.

It was their right though .

Ezy think this season is open. ***

Yep - very open season - I think even teams like Melb could pull a streak of form from their behinds and give it a shake.

At his point, I could see 7 of the 8 teams in the 8 giving it a shake - I reckon the pies are cooked and can’t really see any team from outside the 8 making a serious run at it (including GWS for that matter).

But then this could all change again.

Some crazy talk above. Our best is the best. For some reason most don't rate us but take a look at our finals record since 2017.

Played in 8 finals.7 Wins. Average winning margin in all those finals - 46 Pts! 46 *smile* points!

1 loss. A bad one but a combo of peaking early, illness and an out of world one off never to be repeated

Don't get clever. Don't listen to those claiming we've been lucky. Fagan, Smith's dad, CHris (Belicheck) Scott, Jeremy Cameron's navel lint cleaner. It's not luck when you win your finals by an average of over 7 goals.

Is it just me or is there less FTA footy under the current circumstances?
Nah... Pretty sure the arrangement is still the same... possibly feels different as there's rarely any matches on at the same time.
No way 7 has relinquished their rights... just about the only asset they have!
