Footy media , love’m or hate’ m ?

Kane Cornes calls us arrogant for not doing anything about the Bont on Saturday when every other time the Bont has played well against someone it’s just that - he played well. But when he plays well against Richmond, it’s only because we are arrogant ….of course.

Plenty of other teams don’t tag or lock into a particular player - like the Bont - but that’s ok he just plays well when that happens. Us = arrogant however.

Cornes comes up with an article around us not tagging and losing due to it. Doesn't make a great headline, so he changes the headline to include a ridiculous word to get people to click on the story.

I love it when David King giggles at him (i.e. patronising the little spoilt brat)

But he knows we don’t tag. Hooch has explained several times why. And other sides don’t tag either. But of course, it’s fine when they don’t tag and the player played well - it’s just a case of him having a good game in those situations. But not us. Instead, when we don’t tag Bont and he plays well, it’s only because we were arrogant, not anything to do with a particular tactical philosophy we’ve followed for 6 years and won 3 premierships with.

He tries to click bait. Everyone knows that. But he genuinely has a very strong dislike for us as well, which he tries to get other footy followers to buy into.

What a loathsome piece of sh#25t Barrett is. Here’s a man that wears many hats; the biased, opinionated voice of the AFL on their website who is paid to defend and justify the obvious failures of the AFL.

Then he pops up on a variety of football shows pushing he’s agenda of a so-called football expert who doesn’t even hide his contempt for the RFC and all of its recent achievements. A man with the personality of a pot-plant who is cringe worthy and whose opinions are not only wrong. They are an embarrassment.

It’s very convenient and certainly deliberate, that the AFL would employ such an amiable and accommodating lapdog as him.

One of the biggest problems encountered in AFL football today are the AFL apologists masquerading as journalists on the AFL payroll. One would hope a new and transparent CEO would drain the current media cesspool and engage voices that talk intelligently about football and the games without letting their egos and biases getting in the way of impartial and sensible discussions about the game we love, and the AFL administration. Who should never be above criticism.
That's why 99% of those ass lickers are against Gale getting the job because he will weed out the like's of Parrot and Cornes. They would disappear into the wilderness.

Hardwick has very rarely tagged. Not sure Cornes is aware of that.

Still going with HATE the footy media - arrogant bunch of Tiger hating sycophant looser wankers is my official take on them..

Jay Clark and Jon Ralph. For years, always a problem or issue at Richmond. Always. Everyone else is flying.

Geez Stkilda's would like to be in the turmoil like us, we have won 3 flags in the last 6 years.
How about Freo, Carlton, Nth, Sydney. If we are in turmoil what are they in??

Spot on. Takes attention seeking and axe grinding to new levels he's relentless, obsessed. Such an annoying hack.

It's his job to irritate, and he's elite.

It was those 2 that started the Tom Lynch witch hunt on twitter. Absolute dogs, the both of them.

FYI, isn't Ralph a Richmond supporter?

FYI, this is what Clark said 2 days ago

He claims to be but I think that’s a front. He’s always sticking the boots into us. Always. Can barely remember anything positive he’s ever said or written about us. Always takes the AFL line in matters too.

Buckley and Whateley hold the line today, disagree with the verdict.
He should have contested the ball - once he didn’t do that he was guilty.
Totally disregarded Lynch’s evidence and the fact the ball was too far over him.
Buckley called him a chest marker whatever that has to do with anything.
Bucks recoons he knew Keith was there and he decided to hurt someone.
So Lynch is a thug and a liar.
This may explain Buckley’s coaching failures
