Friday night lights at the G , game day v the Saints

Ok I will play this game. Someone or some were out on the *smile* and senior group not happy. Correct?
Given most of the team looked like they were hungover it could have been quite a few!

Of course like 99% of footy rumours i am sure it is bs..

It's a number of factors.
Firstly after playing to a full stadium 2 weeks in a row with high atmosphere, then onto a empty McG with no atmosphere, cold windy night, the feel good factor was non existent.
Then our midfield isn't fully match fit,if we fix our midfield,we fix our game,as we currently have a bottom 3 midfield in performance from round 1 till now.
Then we kick 5 points in a row and miss giving the saints no belief has they could see we were down down down.
At this point the MCG isn't like a home ground advantage had Andrews and co has ensured,we fuucckking hardly play there ,last 2 years.

My pre-game routine the last 3 or 4 years (Friday night)

I live 3 hours away, so dont get to Friday nights.

But usually id be pumped.

2017-2020.
1pm - lunchtime at work (talking about the nights game), thinking about it
4pm - finish work, thinking YESSSSS Tigers are playing tonight.
5pm - home - a beer
6pm - pub for a couple
7pm - home for dinner, a beer and making sure kids are ready for 7.50pm game.
8pm-11pm watch game over a few drink and sing the song.

Yesterday

1pm - lunch (didnt think about the match, or really cared)
4pm - finished work, drove home, had dinner.
7pm - didnt bother watching 1st 20mins.
8pm-11pm - watched and didnt really care, although shocked we played so bad.

Maybe it was all of us.
ur fault

If there's something, and that's a bloody big if considering there's no mention of it anywhere except here and even here it's nothing, then it's something that Flossy and Pickett really couldn't give a *smile* about.

As a member I abhor the ticketing system. It’s incredibly complicated. Last night at the gates I could only find two of my 3 family tickets in the virtual membership card part of the site. I’ve had that issue before then it appears magically out of nowhere. I’m pretty tech savvy but I bet for a lot of members the digital thing is just too hard. Sooner we get back to lanyards and real membership cards with barcodes the better.
and THIS is the exact reason WHY I sit at home and watch on my 65" 4K HD TV........... *smile* the AFL, they ruined the game day experience for the basic grassroot fan many many years ago.

Hahaha, that is one of the quirkiest questions ever.

Has happened surprisingly often since free kick stats were recorded in 1965 - 165 times, and 7 for Richmond. But this is only the fifth time since 2009

2020 R8 Freo 18F, 16P
2019 R21 N.M. 20F, 14P
2018 R4 Bris 26F, 17P
2016 R19 Rich 24F, 23P
Were any of the 165 by St Kilda? I need some ammo to throw back at a painful Aints supporter.

St.Kilda has 17 mentions, unfortunately none against Richmond and none since 1988.

1968 R10
1972 R14
1975 R21
1977 R12
1978 R8
1979 R4
1979 R19
1979 R20
1980 R15
1981 R15
1983 R3
1985 R2
1985 R19
1986 R9
1987 R6
1988 R6
1988 R12

If it's any consolation, they lost every game.

1979 R4 they had 40 frees, scored 29 and lost by 178 points.

1986 they had 53 frees and lost to Sydney who scored 47 points.
