GAMEDAY: PF 2020 Port v Rich

Reckon we're hanging on by a thread. Not bad to be even with so many players down. Houli, Pickett, Prestia, Castagna, Rioli, Lambert, Short and Graham really need to lift. The backline apart from Short and Houli have been fantastic under a lot of pressure but how long can the hold the dam wall before it overflows?

Many of our players look like they are playing their first final; seem tentative and panicked. Our small forwards, apart from Bolton, are giving us nothing. The ball hits the deck and comes straight back out. On nights like this Tom and Jack aren't gonna take too many marks. All they can do us bring it do ground and then we need the smalls to go to work. They've been unsighted so far.

Geez we have played some dumb footy.

Port always seem to have a player free between centre and half forward for easy inside 50's.

They expect when Lynch and Jack jump for contests where they won't mark to tap the ball blindly forward and their defenders are just lapping it up.

We need to be smarter going forward.

Duursma is killing Rioli and has even kicked a goal whilst running off him.
They are surrounding our tall forwards anticipating a tap instead of a marking attempt. Have to change this and get more players at the fall of the ball.

Tiger express about to leave the station in the premiership qtr. Lynch to break it apart with Georgie

All of the stats apart from tackles are in their favour yet we are all square.

Reckon we just need to improve by 10% and we have this

Our 3rd quarters have not been good this finals series. Need to rectify that or it could be game over.
