Grand Final Team

So whats Pickett's role to be?

Maybe he picks up Greene when he rolls forward, leaving Grimes to do the gate keeper job
Some time in the middle, on the wing and up forward I reckon . We are not going to mess with the back 7 imo

I was underwhelmed by Pickett as a defender at VFL level. He seemed to shine most when thrown on the ball. I don't think we'll be messing with our backline setup. He'll play the Graham role as best as possible which may include stints on the wing (saw Graham play there now and then to relieve the regular wingmen)
Exactly!. I couldn't sense Macca coming in as it would upset the wingers, Ross coming in, maybe, but he played a poor game against the west coast. Stack not fully recovered. Pickett played well in the VFL, has the skills and a matured body. Go Pickett, do us proud! Go Tigers! Go Richmond!

He's the last minute inclusion. If people are expecting him to be the reincarnation of Dusty, they're doing it wrong.
He's in to play a role n fill an injury hole, anything more than that will be pure bonearse. If we're sweating on Marlion to pull us out of the *smile* in the last qtr then 21 other players aren't doing their jobs properly.

Rubbish Masochist. I’ve been waiting all my PRE life for the messiah and I know now.

MARLION IS THE MESSIAH!!

Or a lifelong scapegoat.

Josh Caddy's birthday...
That’s an amazing statistic.

Thanks for that.

But, does it matter?

We have a team capable of winning but more importantly primed to meet their opponents and win the big one.

Moreover, we know how to get the job done.

Absolutely. This is the team Hardwick aimed for from the outset. Battle-hardened, talented and united. Our time is now.

Hardwicke & Co have rolled the dice with Pickett so here hoping they come up trumps. Pickett's one aspect is I doubt if any Giants player except Sam Taylor has played against him so that is a plus for us.
