I saw Jack whispering something to Grimo after the game with hand covering his mouth.
That was funny

It said something like “Jack Riewoldt plays in VFL / AFL record 8th draw”
Was at the game and Jack was fine. Presented well but a number of times the ball was kicked away from him, so he got late to the contest as it was kicked to the defenders advantage. On TV probably looked like he was trailing his defender but he wasn't, was just poor execution of the kick to him. Defensively I thought Jack was excellent tonight which shows he still has the hunger as well.
Jack is the least of our worries.
He did what I wanted him to do tonight and that was compete in the air and in contested situations.
Don’t expect him to be moving that quick, just want him to compete hard when the ball is in the air and if he can, move one or two defenders off the ball when the ball hits the ground and it’s a bit scrappy.

Understandable when Young has 8cm, 10kgs and is 10 years younger than him. But Jack still has experience and guile which can't be taught and will atill command a decent defender. Thought he was OK without having much of the footy.

Jacks earnt the right to play on , I think the end is very near , with his class and smarts he’ll still be able to play a role, however I’d like to play Ryan in his role at this point , Young maybe underrated ? However Jack 4 years ago smashes a player of that quality , last couple of seasons Jacks had marks spoiled that Jack used to mark, now Jack is getting out marked . In saying that it’s March and it’s a long season ahead.
