Price keeps going up. And up, and up. Now a genuine weapon that needs to be planned for.

Two goals from a back flank. 7 inside 50's and went at 95% DE.

22 total sprint efforts, Broad leading the way with 35. Repeat sprints Broad with 8, Short with 6. Also with the highest Average speed in Defence at 10.3, Broad with 9.4.

These two are the hardest workers in the back half. Short has the class to damage with the ball and is more than capable of running games out.

Unbelievably good. 722 metres gained at 95per ent disposal efficiency. Unheard of.

Ok..25, I really rate the little fella and believe he suits our style immensely. Funny team this one..very even across the board but they all seem to fit so well together like a jigsaw puzzle.
TS..you might be changing your mind hopefully..very good footballer is Shorty.

Geez that is some sort of game. What a player he has become in a short timeframe

I rate him, I like him, he played well. Still say he is overrated on here. Not good one on one.

Yes that's not his strong suit, but with us playing 7 in defence it doesn't have to be.

Another not strong suit is gut running. A man down, he was asked to run further and harder tonight. Twice in the second quarter he turned it over because he was gassed. One out on the full when he blazed because he couldn't run any more, and a dropped chest mark, after which he stopped and watched his opponent run away with it.

He also made a couple of good efforts when it was his turn, and kicked two ripper goals, so I'm not bagging him. I'm just putting him under the microscope at the moment.

Yes, he needs to work on a few things, but for mine his good far out weighs his bad.

Yeah, it’s amazing Short isn’t brilliant at all aspects of footy......

Right. When Dimma talks about playing a role, this is what he means. Understand the strengths and weaknesses, then put tactics in place to leverage strength and minimise exposure to weaknesses. He's not perfect, but he's REALLY good at the things he's asked to do to help the team.

Data tells a different story.

He's 22.

Jet in the making.

Yes, he can improve one on one, but he's not awful, and has time on his side. And he is elite in a few areas the team as a whole is not. As such, his value to us is extremely high.
