Kayo price increase incoming & digital memberships

For those who subscribe to Kayo, it's good to know you can save plenty of dollars with a digital membership over 12 months, especially with the next forecast price increase.
Giant$ members getting a pretty good deal if you're keen to sign up for a further discount..

I only watch footy. I only need Kayo for live viewing. The rest of the time i can use AFL. Costs me $240 a year for two screens and one of them is spare. I lend it to an ex or descendant once in a while.

$420 for Kayo is overs.

Clubs really should let their members know stuff like this as a way to save a few dollars.
Especially with the expected increase in midweek games which many members will find difficult to attend.
It's not very heavily promoted though..I wonder why.

I only watch Richmond games and cancel at the end of the season - renew for the first pre-season game. They have been sending me texts to re-subscribe for $15 a month basic package (SD/HD 2 screens) for the year. Sounds like a plan. Telstra/AFL app did me in when they stopped allowing casting. I used to use it game by game to cover the non free to air broadcasts.

Yep, by a long way IMO.

The only thing I actually miss after cancelling my Kayo last September is the NFL.

It is good to know I’m currently questioning my Foxtel subscription that has gone up to top dollar after 20 plus years loyal service

I don't know what the new charges are, but there are always ways to reduce them.

For various reasons there’s infinitely more people subscribe to Foxtel than Kayo…..

I did it 18 months ago, got rid of it, haven't noticed the difference. Get Binge, get Kayo and you have everything Foxtel do for half the price.

To be honest, I have no idea what they show, I have never looked, Murdoch gets none of my money and I don't watch all that much television.

Red I dropped Fox for Kayo and three of the other streaming services 2 years ago. Absolutely no regrets and I am certainly in front financially. Like BinMan i cancel Kayo after footy season finishes.
