Brad Scott said elsewhere that the teams trying to take advantage of the changed kick-in situation are getting pummelled on the rebound.

If scoring is up in the first 60 seconds and down overall, then it is well down the rest of the time. Effectively 6-6-6 is creating little goal "gluts" and longer periods of no goals.

Hocking claims that the likelihood of scoring in the first minute after the centre bounce has increased due to the 666 rule. Well, I guess so... I mean, I haven’t seen this data, so I’ll have to take his word. However, scores from centre clearances have dropped from 21.1 per cent in 2018 to 20.4 per cent this year.

So I don’t get it. Likelihood is up, but scores are down? How narrow do I have to squint at the data to pluck out this fact of Hocking’s?

What else would you expect from a *smile* gutter club like StKilda. It isn’t like they haven’t had *smile* kicker coaches in the past.

He started out with quite a young team and built it into the oldest-ever team in 2016. The writing was on the wall after they crashed from 9-0.
