Carey is only just catching up to the rest of us.

Luckily for the Kangas they were at the top when the AFL was desperate to get rid of some clubs.

Unluckily for the Roys they were at their lowest ebb and the Scraggers gave the AFL the finger as did the RFC with our SOS campaign.

The Kangas were irrelevant before the King and Pagan walked in along with, Schwass Martyn, Longmire and Archer.

Then they pinched Laidley and Blakey, and found a gem in Corey McKernan.

Then they became irrelevant again.

From their coup of “rejects” over the offseason North have Aaron Hall, Tom Campbell and Dom Tyson playing VFL this weekend. Polec, due to his pay packet, and Pittard still playing AFL.

So it's their vfl side that's the destination club then?
:)

Remember when people on this forum wanted Tyson and there were rumours that we were into him? Dodged a bullet there. Melbourne could have had Josh Kelly form memory but traded down (?) to get Tyson.

Tassie doesn’t want ‘em.

Understandable
However the reality is that while Tassie totally deserves a team - at the sme time we can’t have more than 18 teams in the league.
No problem here if North disappeared up its own backside and a brand new Tassie Club appeared at the same time

20 year premiership reunion for North’s 1999 GF team.

20 years without a flag. Time has flown. So they must feel like we did circa 2002 when we hadn’t won a flag for 20 years.

I wonder how much, if any, did the carey-stevens affect the club long term?

They might’ve had any success but at least they started the NMSC

There was a stat mentioned somewhere in the past day where 666 increased goals marginally in the 60 seconds after a centre bounce but not at all afterwards. The kickout rule had no effect.

The biggest effect was a crap coach and irrelevant team.

EDIT: here is the statement
Hocking gave the committee the data on the nine rule changes the AFL introduced this year. He said the likelihood of scoring in the first minute after a centre bounce increased due to the six-six-six rule but then reverted to a game similar in form to 2018. The new kick-in rule had not had much effect on scoring.

Brad Scott said elsewhere that the teams trying to take advantage of the changed kick-in situation are getting pummelled on the rebound.

If scoring is up in the first 60 seconds and down overall, then it is well down the rest of the time. Effectively 6-6-6 is creating little goal "gluts" and longer periods of no goals.

Disaster.

Scott blaming the new rules 666 for his teams demise - yeah nothing to do with him coaching or his team.

His time is seriously up as their coach.

Someone has to tell him all teams are effected by the new rules.
Not just North.

So it looks like they're sacking Brad Scott after this week's game. That means we cop the rebound game with the new interim coach. That'd be right.

Theres every chance they will knock the Doggies off tomorrow that will hopefully keep him there the extra week ;D

Like the time he cried foul that they had to play in the wet when they didn't close the roof at Ethisd.
Everyone smirked because the opposition did too.
Ultimate wanker.
