Nakia cockatoo

I'm on board the Cocky bandwagon.

Speed, power, skill, toughness and professionalism all seem to be there.

I guess the sample size isn't big but if it was he'd probably go much higher.

He reminds me a bit of Dustin Martin and Adam Goodes.

I reckon he makes an impact in 2015 no matter where he goes.

The player Cocky reminds me of most is Des Headland. He even looks a bit like him. I love the way he moves: a blend of power and grace. I'm in.
Hmmm. Desi headcase, bit of a downhill skier at Brisvegas, justifiably so with so much midfield talent ahead of him. Brilliant at times for Freo if he felt like turning it on, but so often only reasonable and a let down on the talent in his grasp.

Nothing to do with the head in my comparison (facial similarities aside). All in the body.

Cocky was also playing through the pain barrier in 2013, the stress fracture was only diagnosed after the tournament. Despite this he still managed to play to a very high standard, that to me shows true character. This year he had one shot to put his name up in neon lights and he grabbed it with both hands. Big game player with a heart to match. I really hope the club has done it's due diligence here and has traveled to the NT and watched the boy in action, there's still time to make the right call.
Is he over his injuries? He seems to have some serious injuries at such a young age.

All clear, his combine medical came up clean and he is playing free of pain. He will be ready to hit the preseason in tip top shape.

No offence, but the Cocky train is feeding on itself on PRE at present.

Good talent - Yes. Plenty of Q marks, yes as well.

Wouldn't be dissappointed if we took him, but he's not clear of the pack at our pick like made out ILO.

You just need to find a buddy for your Garlett train.

Dint we have any photo shop specialist here, Lets have a look at how Cockatoo would look in a Tiger jumper

You really are locked and loaded!

Do you believe we have good odds to select him?

I don't, FWIW.

I think people need to relax as we all know FJ will not pick him. FJ will pick a rock solid rather than a potential rock slide. Now some would say he is rock solid as there is nothing to suggest otherwise his psych profile would be good by all accounts but just cant for the life of me see FJ calling him out.

FJ : I want *smile*-or2

We should start a book on when Hello gets picked. Or was still on the board.

I reckon he'll still be there at 23.

Should we be calling him Hello as a nick or the more obviously suitable Nackers or Cocko as Billy Brownless would happily run with.

Cocko is more a GR term, Brownless would use that term if he ended up at Geelong..... :)
