Nick Vlastuin

David King is just one of a number of football analysts who pretend they know far more than they actually do. He has been looking for things to bring Richmond down from the second we became a good side. I’ll never forget his relentless attack on Rance when he was beaten for a half against Port Adelaide. Vlastuin is as hard and tough as they come. Disgraceful.

I thought he and the others were very complimentary in the first quarter.

Unfortunately at qrt time my wife decided to come in to my special footy room and "watch" with me. That means she asks questions like "why are they all waxed?", "They're not nice socks they're wearing", "who's winning?" , "Is Dusty playing?" , "Is this a final?" and other terribly pertinent questions.

That's why I sit out the back with the dog & watch, no way my missus will leave the warm house to "watch"

Gee Tim, I now have greater respect for my wife.
She sat down this morning as I was watching the replay and David King was just making his comments.
Mrs. Quickdraw said "that's not very nice". Not much idea of skills, game plans or strategy but she knows a crap comment when she hears it. :)

I've found putting a hasp and staple on the door very beneficial to my enjoyment of watching the footy ;)

Vlastuin reacted to a hit in the head, the others reacted to a slight breeze behind them.

Yeah, the commentary was disgraceful. Vlastuin was hit and got a 50 as per the bloody rules of the game.

The tribunal found no case to answer.

Yet these idiots go on about it.

My heart was in my mouth when he got that head knock last night.
Was very relieved to see him up and about straight after.
Up and about straight after looked great but despite what the match review people may tell us it doesn't speak much about the actual extent of the injury, which may be occurring as a result of the accumulation of damage.
His no of head injury's this season I imagine will be a matter of great concern for the club, with hopefully specialist advice involved.

Got maximum votes from me. Thought he was marvellous. Much like Grimes, equally adept playing tall or short.

What I hated was the commentators almost saying serves you right for staging and he can look forward to less free kicks due to his behaviour? He didn't stage you *smile*, is as tough as nails and its a disgrace they have the hide to still mention it.

If he doesn't get AA this year I'll be mortified.
The thing I found weird about the commentary, was that it was David King who brought up about the staging, yet he was the one when it all happened that was saying it was a legitimate 50 and the fine should be thrown out
