Opposition discussion

Heh heh heh…watching footage of Stringer training. Fat…overweight….can barely run.

And they reckon Scott is bringing cultural change ? Heh heh heh….

Thinking these guys might be bottom 4.
Agree. Saw it on the news. I reckon they're covering this as a hammie BS. Have a look at the skinfold on him.

Carlton had a spectacular drop-off last year.
They were third, with eight wins from 10 games, then only won another four games.
Knock them off in the first round, then they should lose to the Cats.
I think they've made a serious blue at selection already.

Playing two debutants first up against a seasoned finals outfit isn't showing the opposition much respect. Much prefer to have the most experienced side possible out there and save them for later. One debut you can understand, but two is an overstretch.

Maybe but there are so many unknowns in round 1.
The Tiger team selection will be very interesting as well . We could either pick the best available 22 and risk playing a number of underdone players or take no risks and have nowhere near our best 22.
I have no idea which way we will go.

Have never seen that before “out of respect for the player (Jeremy Howell) we won’t show the replay of his broken arm.” Nick Vlastuin says hello.

Gone all soft n sensitive these days. Gotta put up an R rated graphic violence notification before they can show the gory bits. Nathan Brown snaps a leg, Jimmeh Hird caves his face in n plenty of other nasty injuries get shown on high rotation just so no-one has to miss out. Now it's we don't want to scare the littlies so we won't show anyone what happened.

Let's just desperately hope n pray the bastards don't copy any of our premiership run at all. Stay mediocre Colonwood, footy life is so much more fun when you're nearly almost along with Carlscum n Essendrugs.

I really don't think their hyperactive game plan can last for 23+ games. They'll do a Boringbourne and slide in 2nd half of season.

More teams right now full of hateable campaigners than I can recently remember.

Go Deez

Gee sook

Copyingrichmondwood

Essington

Kochies

Bears

All of em wall to wall wankers.

collingwood havent followed our off field stability mantra. New CEO, President and Coach - quite remarkable what they have done in such a short time

Missed it but not by that much. Dimma coach 2009. Benny CEO 2009. Peggy was already on the board then moved up to El Presidente in 2013.

Now we just need to wait n see what happens at Colonwood if they play finals for a few years without winning a flag n then slump backwards. Do the knives come out or do they double down as we did n get ( aaarrrgh ) successful.
