Our Football Club, Featuring trapped

Scores:

West Coburg:1-1, 2-6, 4-7, 5-9-39
Aberfeldie:3-1, 3-1, 5-3, 6-4-40.

The umpiring was definitely the deciding
factor in the game. All six of their goals came from
free kicks. We kicked two goals that had to be brought back
for no reason at all.

I didn't play in the backline at all today. I was in the
ruck for most of the game.

Sounds like our umpires the last 3 games trapped. Shame you didn't win, so close yet so far, but at least you know you've got their measure if you play each other again.

My oldest son's team won in Canberra today. Their second win for the year, thus making it their most successful season for 3 years. ;D

This week we have a bye.
Luckily the league automatically
rewards you 4 points when you have a bye.
I don't know why.
This week I am playing with the B grade team.
I'm about 20 centimetres shorter than everyone
else in the team so I'll probably be playing in the forward
poccket. ;D

Well we won.
161-0.
I kicked 1 goal.
I only played one quarter
away from the backline, amazingly.
I was playing on a kid twice my size. ???

What did you play, pot black? ;D

Scores:

West Coburg:3-2, 3-5, 6-11, 8-15-63.
Jacana: 0-0, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0-6.

I played in my favourite position for three quarters.
The funny thing is iur coach said he was going to
move us around the field today.

My view of Jacana being the dirtiest team in the EDFL
was re-newed today as they never went for the ball,
always the man.

My favourite part of the game would have to be in the last quarter
a kid half my size tried to put me on the ground after I kicked it.
I don't know how but he fell on the ground instead of me, he kind
of bounced off me - even though,I gave him no help.

This same kid "dropped" two of our smaller players. A real hero that
was guttless and wouldn't pick on his own size!

Dunno what Delfin means trapped but Eat 'Em Alive anyway. Good luck for a good game. :clap

Down here in Melbourne, we frequently have ads on TV for various housing developments.
'Delfin' refers to the building company that appears to have stitched up the 'craigieburn'
area. It's funny - we all call it caraaaigiburn. They call it Crygybun. Kinda like they want
it to sound posh or somethink.

Scores:

West Coburg 64 - 14 Craigieburn.
We beat them in every quarter except the 2nd.
It was a very bad ground. It was more concrete
than grass.

According to my dad everyone around the boundary
said i played one of the best games I had ever played
for West Coburg.
It was inspired by Matthew White's great game against
Port Adelaide the night before.

Good onya trapped and team. It's always good to hear some positive feedback from the supporters. Keep up the good work. :clap

P.S. Whitey seems a great player to be inspired by. I've noticed he's often the last one to get up from under packs too.

Where are you on the ladder now?

Scores:

West Coburg: 1-5, 1-8, 1-9, 3-10-28
Westmeadows: 0-0, 0-0, 0-2, 0-2-2.

I think that if anyone saw the game you
would agree that Westmeadows is a disgrace
to the Richmond colours. Any team that wears the
Richmond colours shouldn't take any opportunity to
take out the other player. The freaky thing is
that the umpires were rewarding them for doing it.

I played an alright game getting around 15 disposals from
Centre Half Back. One of our players almost got reported
for punching a guy in the face, after the opposition play
took out one of our smaller players behind play.
Once again this game was inspired by
the great game played by the absolute gun player for
Richmond who wears number thirty-five, Matthew White.
He clearly beat Aaron Davey on Friday night for the first
three quarters.

Tomorrow we play Strathmore at our second home ground. This
is good because our first home ground is worse than a cow paddock!
teams haven't been allowed to train on it because it's so bad. Mud
mud mud.

If we win this one, we are in the finals for sure.

We lost :-[

West Coburg: 2-1, 3-3, 4-5, 6-5-35
Strathmore: 2-2, 4-3, 6-5, 9-6-60

Half our team had flu juring the week - but that's no excuse.
We just played really bad.

There's always next week trapped. Good luck for the team getting back on track again.
