Paddy Dangerdive

The press don't seem to understand that Dangerdive has just not got the temperament or team spirit for finals footy
Been treat by someone who recently worked at the Cats for a few years. His biggest criticism of the players is that they are selfish and dont play as a team.

Unfortunately, I do believe that Geelong will beat GWS next week (Toby Greene will be suspended in my opinion, GWS also have a few injuries and they looked out on their feet in the last quarter against Swans ... lucky to win), which hopefully sets the Cats up for a BIG demoralising loss in the preliminary final. One can only hope.

Apologies if this has been brought up before, Dangerfield has played in 21 finals now for no premierships. Is 21 finals the most ever without winning one. I could not find statistics anywhere for this.

He's a chance to break the record then. Geez just noticed Gary Rohan is on the same amount magnificent! And Matt de Boer, I'm sure none of them want to go past Del Santo

Been treat by someone who recently worked at the Cats for a few years. His biggest criticism of the players is that they are selfish and dont play as a team.

Geelong are a timeless reminder of the cultural path we missed out on as a consequence of choosing Dimma and Benny Gale to lead the club.

They’re a beacon of light; the AFL’s version of the Statue of Liberty, a national icon for fans, immigrants, and people everywhere to see and feel inspired at from a cultural vantage.

But this miraculous feat of human accomplishment rarely happens by accident. Geelong made it happen. They enacted the calculated decision to target flogs and allow them to nurture that misunderstood side of themselves for many years in Geelong without deviating from that vision.

Geez, they even changed the rules of the game for their benefit. We don’t give their selfishness enough credit.

In contrast, Dimma inherited 5 young stars: Cotchin, Martin, Rance, Riewoldt, Deledio.

He was unlucky that Cotchin, Rance, and Martin were all naturally very selfless. There was nothing he could’ve done about them.

I’d expect Jack playing for Geelong under Scott gets to end up a flog like Dangerfield. Dimma screwed Jack in this regard by nurturing the opposite side of him instead.

And Deledio. The decision not to give Deledio the captaincy was a fork in the road for our culture. Dimma missed the boat here.

At least he tried to send Deledio to Geelong to learn what he couldn’t teach him himself. We settled with the AFL’s own club as a viable substitute.

True to form, in Scott’s post-match sermon for the ages this weekend, he made elegant excuses to safeguard his coaching strategies from criticism by blaming the players’ lack of character.

Intelligentally, Scott repeatedly used the word “uncharacteristic” to shine light on his players’ lack of character.

It was proudly selfish and devoid in wisdom.

Just like Danger.

A team of flogs indeed... but a miraculous human achievement that should be celebrated for the values it reminds us we lack at the Richmond Football Club.

Eight Collingwood players in that list, how good is that.

Nothing would be more demoralising than a straight sets exit. It would signal the end for the current crop.

Going to be hard. Umpires will do their best to get them over the line:

Biggest cat.
No-one wonder then did nothing while he was there.
As soon as he and Rohan Smith fked off, they won a flag
