He's a champion. He'll bounce back for sure. But he didn't even play the decoy role tonight. Lynch always trying to mark against 2 or 3 blokes. With some horrible forward 50 entries
Also didn't help when Jack tried to take the specky and canoned into Lynch
Yep. That was a very strange game all round. Even Dusty barely got a look in as a forward.
Yep, so good to get 2 pts when we were average and never had the lead at any time.
Shai will be our best small forward by the end of the year if he isn’t already.
The things he can do, and the ability he shows to get the ball remind me of Michael Walters.

I think his opportunities to develop that skill will be extremely scarce
I understand what you are saying and agree. But with the less contact training the tackling would also be to a lower standard. Hence the opportunity to exploit it now that he seems to have the upper body power.
Should have swapped Bolton and Caddy around. Good test for Bolton on Hill and Caddy could have provided a presence in the fwd 50
im not the most observant person but how much time if any has shai spent in the midfield this year??
