Jack Graham looks like he might be about to go up a gear.
Fridge looks supremely fit & it was really noticeable how much outside ball he received in the intraclub. He knocked up getting the footy.
his outside game is an area that previously he hasn't been all that strong in, although admittedly many of the roles he's been asked to play have been more defensive ones to this point.
With his history of shoulder injuries it's actually quite important that he add more to his outside game so it was great to see him moving so well on the weekend.
Hopefully bodes well for the season ahead..

Turns 23 on Thursday. Played just 55 games, so normally one would be talking about him coming into his prime as a footballer.

But Jack already has two premierships to his name plus a deserved rep as a hard nut and quality finals performer.

On the money TOO.
Looking super fit and plays football the way it should be played.
Unanimous BOG in the scratch match, laden with stars, bodes well for his output this coming season.
Cemented his position last year in the starting 22 and think this year will elevate to top ten through consistency and hurt factor

23, is normally a level up year, especially after 55 games and coming into year 5.

Needs to play 20 games and get more involved with the ball. Without the ball, he’s basically the Rioli of the midfield, pressure king. Plays his role no doubt, has value but I’d still like to see him win more ball. Interesting watch this year.

Yep he's another of our definitely role players.

All have one thing in common.

None of them really are pretty players to watch apart from Rioli who can light it up.

Castagna, Graham, Nank, Broad, Astbury, McIntosh, Pickett, Lambert, even the skipper of recent seasons has stepped into being a role player to a degree.

Crude but effective the lot of em.

One thing he has done very well is get forward at times he's pretty dangerous and reliable in front of the sticks., maybe his biased defensive running role impacts his ability to get too far forward but more footy and more hitting of the score board would be a great result for the Tigers in 21 and going forward.

More ball? We don't need more ball. We win flags with less ball. Graham plays the game the richmond way and he doesn't need to change a thing. Gun.

Agree on above.
Jack is poised to really cement himself this year.
Even the footage from the internal trial shows him moving and slicing through play more as a linkman.
This is great as his delivery inside 50 is usually laser like.

In his first year at the club he looked like a future star. To everyone’s excitement he was selected to play just a couple of games before the finals. Gun straight away.

He’s had injuries every year/preseason since then, and when playing, he’s been so dedicated to his role that I think many, possibly including himself for all we know, forgot how good he could be.

Along with his body holding up well lately, it’s looked like he rediscovered a self-confidence in his ability to play like a star around the time there was contract-related talk about him on here around Aug 2020. It could’ve just been body-related of course, or both.

He can do it all.

Inside, outside, goals, tackling, very fast movement out of congestion, a bull, great leadership qualities, courageous, selfless, effective ball user... similar physical tools to Dusty.

In recent years, Cotchin & Edwards have been the two I’ve been most concerned about retiring. Bolton, Graham, and the little I’ve seen from Dow has me feeling more relieved about our future midfield prospects. There’s also the unproven potentials in Ross, RCD, Martyn, etc. along with double draft picks at the end of this year.

Jack Graham’s development is a good indicator of how scary the club’s prospects are for long-term success.

Sustained success, that is.

Graham looked so good in the last part of last year and in the finals. A bit more outside than we have seen him, very clean, good connector, good run, great disposal, never fumbled and still put the physical pressure on. Future captain material as some have said already.
