Pick 53: Jack Graham

A slow inside mid who offers nothing to us in the middle

nice kick when unpressured, but his average output really resembles a winger/half forward. Mid teens possessions and the occasional goal isn’t good enough.
I think he's shown he has plenty to offer when on song. Problem is his inconsistency, really goes missing more than I'd like to see. Still only 23 and plenty of opportunity to improve that area of his game. Have to remember as well he's often designated the defensive mid stopper.

A lot of people say he's the next captain.. The variations in performance are still too wide for that IMHO. His position in the team isn't concrete.
Plays one good one fokllowed by 2 or 3 mediocre ones.

When he has a dominant game hes very conspicuous, when he has a poor one he's just as conspicuous.

He sometimes looks like he's running in treacle. Whereas other times he's a gut runner. Is he playing injured? Is he worn out? He's been a very hot and cold player this season.

Plays a good game then 4 poor ones. Hasn't developed as good as hoped. Can't find 1 player who has had a breakout year or career best form.

Tough crowd. Very solid B+ grader. Recruit 2 A+ ball winners and JG looks much better.

He should be flourishing with the weakened midfields we’ve had this year, and he’s either stagnated or gone backwards.

Dimma is already hesitant giving him midfield minutes. Another couple of midfielders just makes that issue even worse for JG.

No-one was bagging his running style in September 2017.
Just lay off the kid, he has got a free pass at the club.
He could retire tomorrow and he would be legend of the club.

He has been the same as the other 41 on the list. Hot and cold this year.

Stood up tonight and showed great leadership - when we really needed someone to break the lines and create some run & carry. Fantastic game.

Maximum votes. Probably our only 4 quarter player, work rate both with and without the ball was outstanding. More of the same.
