Is this list GOLD AFL members or all AFL members

its all afl members that have nominated a club they support

there are a further 7,000 who have not nominated a club support

in total 31,000 gold, 22,000 silver, and 3,000 absentee

I assume that is member ticket sales.
AFL and MCC take up 40,000. A lot of neutrals in these areas and neither Rich or Geelong have big representations like Melbourne, Geelong or Essendon. I am thinking 15,000 richmond, 10,000 geelong, 15,000 neutral.
Probably another 10,000 neutral corporates.
So of the remaining 45,000, if 4: 1 then 36,000 richmond, 9,000 geelong.

So overall:

Richmond 51,000
Neutral 25,000
Geelong 24,000

I disagree with this.

there are 54,000 public reserve seats. if the 4:1 ratio is correct, that would be approx 43,500 for us and 10,500 for them.

and you're way overestimating the AFL and MCC neutrals at a quarter of the capcity. 15,000 at most.

that leaves Richmond and Geelong AFL and MCC members. we are the bigger club, however I will be generous and estimate a 1.5:1 ratio our way. that means approx another 15,500 to us and 10,500 for them.

so:
Richmond 59,000
Neutral 15,000
Geelong 21,000

that means 99,021 inside doesn't it?
No.

Depends on how many MCC Members turn up.
They don't need "tickets". They can just rock up on the day.

The MCC already sent out an email to members this week saying that if not enough members turn up then they will release more visitors tickets to try to fill out the MCC area a bit more.

Collingwood’s past six weeks remind me of ours in 2018.

Easy ride but somewhat indifferent form, injury to x-factor superstar, heavy favouritism.

I think if Greene gets off they’ll do ‘em. And won’t it be *smile* sweet.

Executing and protecting the centre of the g defensively is the key. It's all known we like team's going wide and to wings/pockets... we defensively structure well to this. When team's gun through the centre is when we generally struggle as we don't get the time to set the zones.
Control the middle and we are good, allow their mids to run and gun... it'll be closer than we like.

Now changed to virtually no rain overnight, pushed back to Saturday morning now. Looking like a warm partly cloudy day top of 24 and evening down to only 21.

Slightly off subject , the rain may be here for the other prelim ,

Does that help GWS ?

It will be close. If we bring the heat we can win. Dont be surprised if the cats are in front in the last quarter.

the thing i love about this time is we have had lesser bigger breaks,2018,s 15 day break after some soft performances despite winning and the 2018 lists health not being as good as mid 2018 left us very vunerable,2019 playing sunday was a bonus as was playing saturday night and the 13 day break were just coming off,Danger is real sore at the moment,so predicting tigers to pull away last quater and a half to win by 38 points.

Think we have them covered. Leysy's only concern is them playing Danger forward.

He's the one ex factor that has the ability to swing things there way if played there.

Yup. Danger is a gun. Strong overhead and very hard to tackle. And Ablett is due for a big game.

They have a good midfield as well so going to be a tough night.
