Round 2 Other games.

Clarksons a genius when he wins....but somehow he isn't when they lose. Weird.

It's the player's.
Replace Obrein with buddy
Replace Frawley with Gibson
Replace scully with mitchell
Replace Morrison with lewis
And then replace Hardwick for Hodge.
They crumbled after half time,
Showed how slow they're defensively. McEvoy isnt a defender

Imagine how good chrisy is feeling with the mighty blues, Dee's and sun's coming up in the next 3 weeks.
He might just ask his mate Shocking if they can have a hub in Geelong for the next 17 weeks....

Unfortunately for Scotty and his merry men they seem to have trouble winning games when they count at the pointy part of the season. All the usual suspects looked a million bucks tonight... Stanley, Miers, Dahlhaus etc... all go missing in the back half of the year.

Yes the myth of Clarko’s genius seems to get bigger every year. Yes he’s been a really good coach and 4 flags is a testament to that.

However the fact is they’ve been a very average team since they last won a flag. Haven’t looked like winning a final even when they’ve made it. We really should handle them easily next week. Would be disappointing if we don’t.

That’s because they don’t get to play finals at Cat Park, and their genius of a coach has given his own team a mental block about winning at the G.

Media creaming themselves over Geelong after a win on the bowling alley against a very ordinary team. Will they ever learn :mhihi

Richmond on the G in a final is quite a different proposition.

Old Salty is all chuckles tonight trying to play the elder statesman. He is such a fraud. When they win he’s all roses but when they lose he’s a sour prick and a sore loser.

Easily the worst bloke in footy.

We've all seen it a few times now, the current group just don't handle the bigger MCG come finals time. Is it fitness? Age profile? Mental block? Can't adapt to the wider ground so opposition players get out on their own a bit more?

They won by 61pts and there % is only 119%
After the next 3 hard games against Carlton Melbourne & GC.
There % will be equivalent to another 4pts.
I wish we had someone in the AFL, dictating the fixture.
I wouldn't be surprised if we go down there this year and Collingwood don't.

Yes and he was supposed to have really tweaked his game-plan basing it more on the Tigers' more attacking and winning forward handball style (according to the HUN).
He really needs a better season because Jeff will be on his case if the Dawks really flop again. Love him or hate him, Jeff is going to come out and say exactly and bluntly what he thinks like - "Maybe time to move on Al. See ya later!"

Frauds.

Their soft kills at home will have them primed for another painful Finals exit .......hopefully at the hands of the RFC again.

Yes, sure, but like Colonwood, another team with an aging list of star players, you're forgetting that shorter games and season is going to help their chances. Especially Geessok with their particular home advantage and if their draw continues to be so favourable. Like not facing a tough run of top teams.
There's only 15 abbreviated games left for these clubs after Rd.2 And the moggs never have to cover anywhere near as many ks on their bowling alley. Allows them to keep fresher legs this season.

Geelong have Carlton and Gold Coast at the cat litter and Melbourne as well. Talk about a soft draw. They will be up the top with so called experts having wet dreams about them. They will get hit hard later in the year though.

Anyone else think Gablett has been feeding from the same through as DeGoey? Lots of padding which the Geelong hoops don't let you hide
