Cats in a borefest tonight. Really not sure Carlton are all that good. Stewart and Hewett doing the rhyming outs.

Some nice margin bets I think this weekend.

I reckon the cats struggle when Stewart is missing and the Carlton forward line could take advantage.

Agree with the snorefest.

This game serves to remind me of the breadth and depth of my hatred for Geelong.

I'll be barracking quite hard for Carlton.

I think the wallpaper splits for the cats tonight.

Probably a fair call. DeKoning (knee) and Ratugolea on their own don’t exactly inspire confidence I suppose. Think the Geelong system still gets it done though. Carlton have a woeful record against them.

Yeah, what's the world coming to, I was barracking for the Pies to beat the Scats last week and will be rooting for the Paper Baggers to beat the Scats tonight.

Can't stand either club.
Scats still whinge about the 1967 Grand Final.
SHocking working for the AFL, changes a rule to favour Dads Army and then goes back to Sleepy Hollow.
Blues supporters still go on about Balme and Southby like they are the most clean skin club of all.
Trevor Keogh broke former team mates Russell Ohlsens jaw in the 1979 Grand Final.
At the time Ohlsen was best on ground.
Carlton's salary cap breach.

I’ve hated Carlton with a passion all my life. I must hate the cats just as much because Tonight I’m hoping for a draw.

Best thing about tonight's game is that one will lose (no more draws surely!!). I'd go for Ninthton....just to get Pricky on the edge a bit.

Last week was a round of blockbusters based on 2022. This round will be a round of truth moments for a number of games:

Cats v Blues - are Blues improvers? Did they draw with a top 4 team last week? Cats first two losses would start murmerings of premiership hangover, over the cliff etc. I hope the Blues win well

Lions v Dees - Lions were meant to be premiers this year but were poor in the first game. Are they still only Gabba specialists. If they lose heat will be on. Dees early premiership favourites through pre season games and first round. Can they win away against another premiership favourite?

Dogs v Aints - if dogs lose again, the jungle drums will be beating or are the Aints a different team under Ross? A dogs win will just defer the questions on both for another week

Eagles v Giants - this is just 2 bottom of the table teams going at it isnt it? If Giants win 2 in a row, this away from home, it might show that they are better then we think, If Eagles lose at home, we can write them down as wooden spoon contenders. If Eagles win, yes, just positioning of two bottom 8 teams

Scum v Poort - both teams looked the goods last week. Can Poort keep it up away from home. If scum win, wait for the hype to come about Collingwood etc

I sense Carlton are overrated. Lot of mediocre players. We should have blown them off the park last week.

Rains gone, the Cats will want to make a statement.

Tigers blew it, and its becoming more than the odd blip, this side has let more than a few games slip the past couple of years.

Historically, not many teams have made finals after being 0-2. No pressure, Geelong, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs…
