Bronwyn has finally gone into self preservation mode and apologised for claiming certain expenses. Must have been getting pretty hot in her seat for her to finally have that turnabout after a few weeks of denial.

Yes, I think people should be free to come to Australia to seek better employment opportunities. I don't believe in any government welfare, but given that hell will freeze over before government welfare is abolished, a 15 year wait for immigrants seems a fair compromise to me.

I read somewhere that if she gets a vote of no confidence, and has to stand down, it impacts her 'pension'; where it goes from being amazingly generous to just overly generous.

No chance she will resign.
