Only watching Salty's post game presser would be as good as watching the Cats get absolutely pole axed - but it is no where to be found on the AFL site! Of course they are typically well and truly up by now and the Dees presser is up Jesus, both this clown and that crap club are protected species.
It was notably absent from the ch7 coverage.

Not sure why the media feel they can’t talk about Geelongs woeful finals record, listening to Hamish and Leppa and Carey talking them up and defending them with “they’ll be in the prelim next year” , “ 16 other clubs would love to be where they are”, “they’ve been up for 10 years”, “they keep rejuvenating their list” blah blah blah.

Theyve failed in finals for a decade now. There’s no award given for just making the finals, finishing 4th with 2 finals losses, you may as well finish 9th or 12th.

Call. Them. Out.

Gutless spineless media.
Now the brother might get the head of football job. No one in the media will dare to criticise Chrissy.
The first question asked last night, shouldve been how long to do you need to realise your game plan/style dosent stack up in finals?
2nd question, How many more times are you going to select Gary Rohan?
3rd question, Your finals record??
4th question, what were the people thinking leaving the ground shaped like that at Geelong?
4th question, Are there any kids coming through?
5th question Do you think your ran your race at Geelong?
6th question ,What state will leave the list if you decide to leave, because by the outside your board won't remove you?

With about 15 players in their 30s they should consider entering the team in the AFL masters
Maybe they can then actually win a :cupgold

Career defining. Coach defining. Club defining. Crushing. Crashing. Thrashing.

Geelong irrelevant for another two decades. Magnificent.

It was notably absent from the ch7 coverage.
And it did not come on until almost midnight, could’ve even been after midnight during Cooney’s show. Cooney was calling his list out a bit.
My bloody popcorn was cold by then.

Got what they deserved last night. They play a boring brand of football which was clearly favoured by Hocking's rule change. Karma bus hit them hard last night...

7. Is Patrick Dangerfield a liability in finals?

No tough questions at Chris Scott's presser.

Just a rant ala the film "Downfall" with the many parodies about Hitler. :)

Scene 1.

Grigga at half time.

"Chris, my Fuehrer, we have no avenues to goal".

Points to white board, " we are being beaten, here and here and here ".

Chris: " Gary Rohan will save us" waving finger at whiteboard.

Grigga: " Chris, my Fuehrer, Gary Rohan hasn't had a stat to half time and now he has pulled his hammy"

Chris, " all the trainer's leave the room just the following assistant coaches and the recruiting chief remain".......

:)

From 2012 onwards:
Qualifying finals: 1 win, 6 losses
Elimination finals: 0 wins, 2 losses
Prelim finals: 1 win, 5 losses
Grand finals: 0 wins, 1 loss

Semi finals: 5 wins, 1 loss. Three of those wins over the team that finished 8th, one over 6th, one over 5th. Lost to 6th.

Damning. So many players with All Home And Away jackets and no flags.

Unless he missed a game somewhere, that puts Duckwood's finals record as captain at 7 wins, 15 losses.

I think it's time Grigga came home..... his work is done now and the longer he stays he's at risk of being tarnished by the Scott association!
Heard him yesterday saying "us" and "we"...... felt unwell after that I must admit.

Geelong’s list profile is frightening. 12 players 30+ and 11 of them played last night. Only 2 players in the prime 25-27 age bracket. Little genuine talent in the vital u23 age bracket. And to top it all off their first pick in the draft this year is what? Pick 30?

In summary, they are seriously looking at 8-10 years before they can be in a position to genuinely contend again.

So taking out semis they're 2 and 14. In finals since 2012.
