Can see the possibilities here - a sort of reverse Polec contract (which of course is where a players own club pays for him to play elsewhere)
In this case the other 17 clubs go to Collingwood with a deal whereby they each contribute say $20K on the proviso that Cox remains on Collingwood's list for at least 5 years.
