in the last 25 years, 66% of the time Richmond win the premiership, they used 38 or more players?
and we could make it 75% this year?

They would have pumped up Carlton for a finals charge if they had won yesterday. I'm surprised esserdrugs wasn't elevated to Sun flag favourites. They love a (most recent) winner. The Hun is pumping up our tyres saying we loom as a dangerous flag chance. I feel that we play better when everyone expects us to fall over. One game at a time.

On the club site, Hardwick praised Edwards' role as a high half forward against the Suns.
He also said, 'He was the best score-assist player in the AFL last year'.
So clearly, through re-locating Stack and Edwards to the forward line, and with the addition of Bolton, we're pumping skill and X-factor into attack. The aim is to increase our scoring power which, in my view, has traditionally been a problem if a game turned into a shoot out.
The match committee want to maximise goals if we win centre clearances, and maximise our ability to counter attack from defence if we don't, hence the immediate inclusion of Short, and trialling of Egg's skill as a defender and distributor. ( I also noted with interest the use of Baker down back in the magoos.)
The gut-running of Ellis and Kmac also assists with our team-defence approach, as does the capacity of Chol and Nank (once fit) to drift back and stand in the hole or block leading channels.
Make no mistake, we are now in rehearsal mode for a tilt at the flag, and are assembling a squad capable of regularly kicking 18-20 goals rather than just 14-16.
All these developments and refinements have come at a bad time for the likes of Butler and Higgins, whose form dropped away during a critical period as injured players once again became available.

Rance is now on the LTI. We won't see him this season.
do you have a link to that ruling ?, I searched & could only find this from 2017 that says 8 weeksLTIL is now 6 weeks.
often wondered what exactly is a high half forward? Is it pretty much a wingman?
or is it the role Jim Buckley used to play when he'd smoke a big scoob before the game?
Split enzHmmmm, has anybody realised that at the end of Rnd 16 2017, we were 6th on the ladder with a 9/6 win loss record and a percentage of 105.3......sitting out of the top 4 on percentage.?.....excitingly errie.
Who says history never repeats??
Crazy true but this time we’ve got the rest of our games at the MCG. No trip to Geelong.Hmmmm, has anybody realised that at the end of Rnd 16 2017, we were 6th on the ladder with a 9/6 win loss record and a percentage of 105.3......sitting out of the top 4 on percentage.?.....excitingly errie.

Hmm, score more to win, as opposed to limit the other side more. Possibly a response to the new rules now we have seen them for half a season. Scoring has been low, is this an opening to win with a more attacking strategy? The AFL would be happy, still wouldn't justify anything those idiots do.
Yeah, this "rope a dope" style of footy for 3 quarters then "hell for leather" in the last quarter is must be up for exploiting. Does playing the RAD style conserve more energy than the HFL style? Why not play the HFL style for 4 quarters? You'd be sweeping the teams that play the RAD style off their feet.I was listening to SEN at lunchtime Sunday, and I think it was KB made a very valid point that struck true to me... The majority of footy gameplans and strategies are designed to negate the opposition from scoring. Not many have plans or set plays to increase scoring or to pluck pluck a goal from a specific situation (perhaps with the exception a forward stoppage). We're averaging 13 points less per game this season. We need to step it up. So I welcome Dimma's comments.

that means Val Perovic was the high centre half back.
