Joe Solomon, the dead-eye who ran out Meckiff to seal the Tied Test, died the other day aged 93. Here he is having just done the deed, at left of frame in the greatest photo in cricket history:

Well known advocate for Cambodia in the early 90s through his documentaries. He certainly wasn’t scared to challenge the status quo.
Was at his best in one of my favourite movies - In the Bedroom.
