Cashed up after backing "Dylan Dusty" in the dish lickers at Maitland yesterday, got the exacta too after taking it with "Spook"y Rebel, it was an omen bet.

Hard to see where Aft Cabin gets to in the run after drawing wide again.
I'm on Osipenko, at this rate the PRE brethren will have every horse in the race covered.
Jeez I’ve had a couple of good days on the punt.
Part owner of Continuum ($4.20) and Mikado ($19) tipped me his horses at Coffs Harbour yesterday. Both won. Although when I backed Mikado it was paying $10.
Another bloke who gets good mail tipped me Gem Song at Newcastle and O’whatapicture at Ararat today. Didn’t like either but put on an all up place at around $20. Both ran 2nd.
Got some ammo for tonight and tomorrow but will likely give it all back !

It all went well this week, but theres been plenty of times it hasn’t.
But that’s gambling as you well know. Just don’t hold the sh!t tips against me!

I’ve never been a big winner on the punt, as in collecting thousands, but that’s due to my punting style. Never done a quaddie, first 4 only in the Melbourne Cup etc, I’m just a mug $20 a win or if I really like something $50 on the nose. Very rarely back something for the place.
Couple stand out for me, and it’s probably the circumstances surrounding the win that makes it most memorable to me.
Wandering down the street one day on the first Monday in November. Noticed a women standing with a $50 note under her foot. Told her, she says it’s not mine, you saw it, it’s yours. Easy come easy go I thought, put it on Might and Power to win the Melb Cup at $6.

Mrs heavily pregnant back in 2010. 2 days away from being induced. Wasn’t going to have a bet this particular Saturday. She’s snoring on the couch, so I thought bugger this, I’m gunna have a bet. Raced down to the TAB. $20 all up in the last 3 races at Doomben turned into a $720 collect.
But my favourite one is a day I don’t particularly remember very well. My bucks day back in 2008. Bunch of lads head to Doomben, then the Hamilton Bowls Club, followed by the Brekky Creek, then to Albion Park trots, followed by the casino finished off with some quality time at the strippers. Woke up the next day to find I had $400 more in my pocket than I left home with the previous day. If only every Saturday went like that!

It was only 2 days later (i was too hungover the next day), when i went to go to the police to report my robbery,
That my wife confessed she'd found me and emptied my pockets, the kids all grinning like shot foxes.
