Was really impressed with Dan when he went down back last year, especially his ball use. Can see him being a real weapon for us this year.
Keep him down back. Days up forward are done I think. Only on a special needs basis should we put up forward.

Yep, reckon he is just starting to mature, is still only 24. Dan will kill it down back this year.

It worked with Jake King, but failed when we tried to make lightning strike twice with Morris.
Jake King was a highly skilled footballer who fans misread because of his looks and attitude. He basically played CHF for a couple of years and did alright.

And blisteringly quick.
His pace down back is so important to our rebound.
I’m thinking AA too

He'd want to have a good year, as he's been ordinary in the forward line in recent times. If he can't succeed in the easier position at half back, we have half a dozen blokes who could take his place.

Yes, there's a bit of competition, and he wouldn't want to rest on his laurels.
Not sure how many of those competing for his position will able to go at the 80% disposal efficiency that Dan went at last season though. I was very impressed with that, and the run that he gave us.

Agree. I think Rioli back there will be exactly what we thought we would get with Yarran all those years ago.

And took on the Collingwood side single handedly :)).

Specialist ....Antagonist the Push Up King
Whilst doing business with an ex Pie last week, i had a bit of fun with him by saying "I've got another ex AFL player coming in soon, should be here any minute... Do you know Jake King"? (which was crap of course, i've never met the Push Up King)

With the look on his face, i thought i better let him in on the joke quicker than i originally intended to on the basis it was clear that if i didn't there was the severe risk i was going to have to administer mouth to mouth or let him die of shock on the floor, in which case of couse, he would have been dying on the floor!
