Tyler Sonsie

He needs to spend the summer with Kane Lambert. He can play Lambo's role if he gets fit enough. Kane was not an inside player. He could come through a stoppage at pace and get a clearance but standing under the ruckmen was not his go, and it's not Sonsie's either. That's okay, we have Taranto and Hopper and that fat bloke, number 4. Hit the fall at pace in a timely manner and whoosh, away ya go young Tyler.

Two weeks for the punch if he played for Geelong or Collingwood. So he'll get four.
I dont think he could keep up with Kane......

It’s not a crime to be an outside player. But outside players do a lot of chasing. Arthur is still learning that.

Positioning. Arthur has always positioned at stoppage like a Cerra or maybe a Crisp. But he doesn’t run or use through the line as they do. He can learn that.

Is he coachable?

I have thought for some time that Blair may seek a refund on this pick. He got a refund on Higlet and another in CJ. If he goes for one on Arthur it’s because we don’t think he’s coachable.

Just dumb.
He will get what he deserves & unfortunately for him & us will again curb his development early next year.
And more importantly, this hurts his teams chances in finals.
It’s a team sport and his petulance has cost his team mates.
I’m old school, but I’d be filthy at him if I was his team mate and I’d tell him about it too

I really hope you are right, otherwise what a waste. The kid he hit was a 19yr old weighing in at 70kg so won’t get any points for toughness and it would be a real shame if thats all he is remembered for.

I don't see the relevance of "the kids age & size" Sonsie is all of 12 months older and a few kgs heavier. We're not talking about a 10 year & 20kgs difference.
Sonsie is still a kid himself, sure it was a stupid thing to do & he'll pay the price for it. Hopefully he also learns from it.

I'd be pretty sure he's been hauled over the coals for his stupidity & rightfully so.

Now the club will do its best to minimise the damage & keep his suspension to a minimum.

I dont mind this angry side from him shows he has a bit of mongrel in him, more positive of him making it now on this act alone because before i was worried he was weak as *smile* and no fight in the dog

That act wasn’t tough. Weak mongrel act for sure
Shows insecurity to lash out over something so minor.
Liam Baker is tough.
Sonsie is far from it

More chance of making it on this act alone???
Glad you can find some positive in it.
Most of us can’t
